Morning everyone, another rainy day here so i have no excuses.
the living room is one of the better rooms in the house (the dining room being the room of doom) so i should be able to complete the list today.
Tuesday bluesday ~ Living Room, Hall and Stairs
Level One..
Vacuum through the living room, hall and stairs
Level Two..
Dusting, even if around everything
Remove clutter making sure stairs especially are safe
Clean windows and all glass.. including the tv screen
Clear the mantel and only put back the items which are supposed to be there.. and that doesn't include letters, keys or other treasure!
Level Three..
Open a drawer.. sort the junk within!
15 minutes sort of the junk on the landing!
Vacuum under furniture you can manage to move without hurting yourself
Extra Mission: Pick one or more of the following tasks –
Binbag dance.. Get a binbag.. fill it and bin it!!!
Wash any cushions, throws or curtains that need it
my extras for today.
buy drawing pins for the bunting in DD5's room, selotape is not the answer anymore.
clear out and wash all oil burners ready for new scents to go in
look for a shoe rack or something that actually holds shoes for the porch, ten pairs of shoes behind the door is not the best impression to give when visitors arrive.
have a look at bank accounts online and switch if nessasary.0 -
Hi Newbie here. Hope that's ok - Off out for most of today. Local wildlife centre, picnic, fresh air, free parking very MSE friendly :money:
But i like the idea of giving me a kick up the bum especially as the children are off and the house just seems fit to burst with children leaving a trail of toys, cups, plates, mugs, clothes. Might show them the list and get them in on it.... they love ticking them off
off to start level one

I think I have about half an hour before lunch so I will put another load of washing in and help ds1 tidy the playroom. He is really struggling as no where really has a home yet. I can't wait to get it sorted and get the storage up because then he will be able to keep on top of it! Catch you all at lunch!Grocery challenge-

Hi everyone - day out postponed due to DD2 needing an emergency dentist appt
Quick question. I've read the welcome guide in the link and would love a look at Toot's master list for the whole house but the link no longer works. Can anyone point me in the right direction? Thank you xStarted my MFW journey in August 14 : £103,650
