Thank you for all the TV advice. Think I've found a 32" that I like, is a well known brand, with good reviews and is on offer :)

Today was a SFD :) Did another 4 hours temping - honestly would be in a financial mess if it wasn't for the temping and marking money, so I'm very grateful for having the opportunity to make extra money.

Spendy day tomorrow as off to buy my school shoes for next year!

    Morning All

Dreadful night. My poor tummy was just not happy. Up for several hours around 3am. After the busy day yesterday I'm feeling slightly battered this morning. And I think it could be the same again today as it's a cold murky day plus it a tube strike there will be a lot more people around that couldn't get to work so may come to the cafe.

No matter. Pity party over! Will just have to strap on my go go gadget rocket skates and power through it! Better too busy than too quiet.

And bottom line is trade means repayments :)

    Enjoy your break welshkitty

Hope your tummy settles down bob and that trade is s good level of busy throughout the day. I've heard to tube strikes cause chaos.

Today will be a spendy day as I'm going to town with a friend to get my shoes for work for next year. Going to try Clarks as I need wide shoes and want ones that will last the year. Probably will have lunch or at least a drink and snack, and may go get a new TV too, so a very Spendy day potentially!

    Hi guys.

Bob - hope you are feeling better soon.

I did spend money yesterday in the end. I got 4 birthday cards for £1, two for DH's birthday and 2 for spares. Me and DD had chips £3.10 (very expensive for Yorkshire chips but the best you'll ever have) and a bun each £1.85, not at all healthy.

Went to Lidl and did a full grocery shop (when I go I am the only one there doing a full shop - weird), we spent £58.10 and got loads of lovely stuff including a bottle of wine and 2 bottles of beer. If I go there for my two remaining shops from this budget I should be well under my grocery budget so the difference can go to the credit card.

I am going out on my bike this morning - not going far just laps round a nasty hill just down the road.

Hope you feel better soon, Bob, and the day goes steadily. We aren't directly affected by the tube strikes, but for a week, all the red buses have been letting us know that their services may be disrupted!! Dd and I are off to the hospital on the bus - routine 6 monthly appointment for her - so I'll leave extra time...

Planning on another NSD so will have to take lunch + treats for when we are out.

We have dss + gf here at the mo, on and off for the month. Currently 'off' in Poland, so I hope to go and tackle some of my paperwork in their room. Such anticipation and excitement...

Happy shoe hunting Fmess. I sometimes go and try on clarkes stuff, then order it off amzn!

    Happy Thursday folks

Bob hope you feel better soon and you manage to cope with work today.

Fmess - Enjoy the shoe hunt, I always struggle with Clarks shoes as I have narrow feet.
Counted today as SFD as off this afternoon but promised doggy nice long walk as have plantar fascia insoles for my booties now and walking is less painful.

    SFD 4/20

Paid 100.00 pounds off my barclaycard today 240.00 to go and then I am down to one credit card. Will try to achieve this month.

Didn't sleep well last night and it wasn't my back playing up for a change , just felt really stressed out. Sat watching news for an hr at 2am so if you need any updating on current affairs I am the one to ask lol. Sure I overdosed on sugary things before bedtime oops

Can imagine a tube strike must be a nightmare. Applemuncher hope you manage to get to hospital on time.

Hopefully the rain is drying up for my afternoon off.

    Hi All

So the balance transfer has now happened. To clear the remainder on the interest charging card is £643.18  so I need to sit down & figure out how doable that is given I have already made some payments this month anyway.
I also made a boob by not cancelling my DD to the EF so that took £180 today. Can't decide whether to fish it back out or not. Want my cake and eat it I think.

I found out today I've qualified for another study my business energy provider is doing so I get £50 if I do all the activities. So that's a good side hustle. Am also only £1 from the payout limit in checkoutsmart. So possibly £55 available straight away for debt slaying.

Sorry haven't read back through all the days posts yet so off to do that shortly.

I got me another NSD - yippee!

And dd has now been moved to 12-monthly check ups - yippee again!

And I faced up to the paperwork pile and have recycled about half of it. The rest has been sorted, but not properly.

The recyc men took all the garden waste - 7 binbags of it.

Made a Tilly Tidy of £1.01.

I also tried on a few items of clothing in my drawers and several will go to the ch shop now.

    Knitting is coming along fine.

Dinner made enough for tomorrow too.

All in all, a good holiday day, with dd. We are now both on the same half of the sofa, on our tablets. Quality mummy-daughter time! :D
