I agree with what Abba says hun and just keep thinking of your Christmas tree up in your lovely new house. I don't actually think I could do with the stress that comes with buying and selling a property but you are handling it really well and it will be worth it for your future.
Hope something comes along for OH soon as well.
Take care.
Tink xx

I'm trying to think of Christmas in our lovely new house but all I can picture are boxes!!
Luckily we are heading to my parents for Christmas dinner, partly so we can all share little ones first Christmas, and partly because my grandparents will also be there and it's an age since I had a big family Christmas. It's also a big help when we will have only been in the house 9 days if all goes to plan, I need to get used to the oven :rotfl:
Babies are brilliant Tink! :happyhear:heart: My niece is doing so well now she is putting on weight - she's been discharged by the hospital (she's still tiny though!) she's giggling and gurgling away and she's got the biggest smile. I'm utterly smitten!
Little man is a sturdy little fella, he has a permanently worried look on his face - he's adorable!
I have had a slightly spendy but good idea. I haven't had my hair done for ages and it's a state, colour is a mess and it's soooooo long! I normally have it to my shoulders but it's past my boobs now and I can't cope with it! I've asked my sister to do it for me as it's cheaper than going to a salon - I normally give her £40 and buy us lunch but she's desperate for a tommee tippee perfect prep machine now that she's stopped breastfeeding so I've agreed that I'll go halves on one with her if she does my hair this weekend, result as far as I'm concerned - found one for £75 so that's ordered and she's giving me half back - end result is I get my hair done sooner than I expected and for cheaper than normal :T
I also had a bit of money arrive today a bit earlier than expected - I'm in a work lottery syndicate (I know it's a waste of money but this is also a sort of savings plan) we pay in £2 a week, £1 goes on the lottery and £1 goes into a savings account - this is topped with any winnings and then split between everyone in the syndicate at the beginning of Dec so I got £105 back today. It's earmarked for presents - that's why I do it really because it's always nice to have a bit of extra cash at Christmas. I only have OH's xmas present and my Moms birthday present left to get now so I'll hopefully be PADing some of that later in the month when everything is sorted

How nice to get extra cash back!
How also nice to have two babies to enjoy on Christmas day!" Your vibe attracts your tribe":D

I am the epitome of calm and serene today - feeling very much like there's nothing more I can do so I'm just going to stop stressing...will see how long this lasts for. I'm sure my inner control freak will soon be shouting at me to get back on to all involved today and chase, chase, chase!
I have stashed my lottery money in a secret place ready for OHs xmas present shopping. Bought my moms birthday present yesterday using a voucher I got as a present so that frees up the money I was going to spend on that.
OH and I had an unbudgeted meal out last night. I have been a nightmare to live with the past week stressing over the house and so given that we got some good news yesterday (buyer finally happy with damp survey) we decided to splurge on dinner. It will have to come out of the grocery budget though so we will regret it towards the end of the month!
I'm so looking forward to spending time with both babies over Christmas.
Got a lovely weekend planned as well - a night out with a couple of friends tomorrow (budgeted for) and it's the first night out for my friend who had a baby in September so I'm really looking forward to it.
Saturday - my mom, sister and niece are coming over for lunch at the new local pub and a wander around the outside of the new house (they aren't allowed inside before completion, and neither are we until it's confirmed the leak is sorted)
Sunday - I'm heading over to my sisters to have some baby time and get my hair done. In between all that I need to get some more packing done as if it does go ahead on 16th Dec, we are NOWHERE near ready :rotfl: Also need to try and measure up for blinds if we can get in the house anytime soon or the neighbours are going to have an awful fright :rotfl::j PAID VERY, Barclaycard x3, Vanquis, Natwest, O/D, Tesco & MBNA x2 PAID :j LBM 24/07/15 - Original Debt: £0/31010.23 (100% paid)

This mornings news was if we can't go for 16th December out buyer wants to leave it until the new year
I agree that I want that to be the latest but I want to be in and unpacking, using the christmas break to get the house in some semblance of order.
Still staying calm about it all though. What will be will be
Getting quite annoyed at 1poll though - I've been at £39.95 for 3 days. I normally make a minimum of 50p per day so I am annoyed at this delaying tactic to avoid paying out :j PAID VERY, Barclaycard x3, Vanquis, Natwest, O/D, Tesco & MBNA x2 PAID :j LBM 24/07/15 - Original Debt: £0/31010.23 (100% paid)

Oooh it's a rollercoaster this house buying/selling business!
Our carpets are being laid in new house on Monday, our home demo is on Thursday with CML sign off on Friday 9th ready for completion Friday 16th
Buyers solicitor have sent through another query - same one which was answered last week  I've asked them just to get an indemnity policy for it - for the sake of about £30 I'm sick of this dragging on!
So it looks like things are finally moving...although I'm worried that I'm jinxing it by saying that!:j PAID VERY, Barclaycard x3, Vanquis, Natwest, O/D, Tesco & MBNA x2 PAID :j LBM 24/07/15 - Original Debt: £0/31010.23 (100% paid)

Ugggghh hate that feeling that you may be able to change the course of events if you are too optimistic! It's utterly insane. But I get it a lot. Come on house just be yours and you can relax again." Your vibe attracts your tribe":D
