Hi Bob, hope you are feeling better now? I'm having a meeting with the director in the morning to discuss further but at the moment I'm leaning towards no...might change my mind in the morning though, I've worked out it would be about £75 a month extra, which is not to be sniffed at with regard to my debt repayments...we shall see! It hasn't made it any better that my director has found something about our new office that he isn't happy with, and has been constantly emailing and calling to talk about it all day...on a Sunday when I don't work weekends
Thanks Orange Ena, it's finally starting to feel real! I was very relieved that the all blacks won, I think the mood of the evening would have been terrible otherwise!
Have been and picked the dining table and chairs up tonight...they are a bit bigger than I remembered so fingers crossed it fits :rotfl:
Some of my ebay sales have gone through and cleared to paypal so transferred them to my bank and made an immediate PAD to vanquisAbsolutely shattered so I'm off to have an early night before the dramas of Monday morning begin

Yes thanks Kirsty. Hope the meeting with the director goes well. It's good to have options at the very least. Good to talk them through with the boss." Your vibe attracts your tribe":D

Thanks Bob, it actually went worse than I anticipated, not so much for me (we agreed no for now, but may review in a month or so) but he has asked me to let someone from my team go as he isn't happy with their performance. I hate this part of my job. I argued with him, but there's not really much point, when his mind is made up that's it
I feel awful, I know it's part of the job but I don't like it. The person in question really isn't working hard enough but I would rather have a meeting and try and sort the issue than just get rid. I have a couple of weeks to try and talk him round, so fingers crossed.:j PAID VERY, Barclaycard x3, Vanquis, Natwest, O/D, Tesco & MBNA x2 PAID :j LBM 24/07/15 - Original Debt: £0/31010.23 (100% paid)

I'm not looking forward to it, but I've woken up full of ideas to improve performance and I'm determined to make it work as best I can. If after a few weeks there's no improvement, I will have done everything I can.
Our contracts finally arrived ready for signing today so I'm nipping to OHs work on my lunch to sign and get them witnessed by his boss and then it's off to the post office to get them posted guaranteed next day :j (a cost I really won't mind parting with!)
Then it's time to transfer the deposit. I've been very proud of myself for having all that money sat in a savings account for 2 months - kept looking at it and realising it would clear my loan or my CCs but a house is much more worthwhile in the long term:j PAID VERY, Barclaycard x3, Vanquis, Natwest, O/D, Tesco & MBNA x2 PAID :j LBM 24/07/15 - Original Debt: £0/31010.23 (100% paid)

So excited! Contracts all signed and posted off, deposit transferred and I think we only have another evening or 2 of packing to go...good job as we leave for Dublin on Thursday afternoon
Actually feeling like I can look forward to Dublin now - we were debating not going if all wasn't sorted with the house, but I think all is in hand and we will be contactable so going to have a nice couple of days to ourselves before the madness starts!:j PAID VERY, Barclaycard x3, Vanquis, Natwest, O/D, Tesco & MBNA x2 PAID :j LBM 24/07/15 - Original Debt: £0/31010.23 (100% paid)

 Grrrrr my stupid landlord has to ruin all good moods. Has been letting himself into the house again and had the nerve to tell me to move the boxes and dining room table and chairs (we are using the spare room and dining room as the storage area for packed boxes and furniture that has been dismantled ready for the move)
He is showing the house to some agents over the next week (won't give me specific days at the moment) and thinks the boxes make it look cluttered! Spoke to my boss and he said I can take my lunch at times to suit me for the next week or so, and so I've told the landlord to give me 24 hours notice so I can be there - he has said he will let me know the day before but doesn't want me to be present.
He has said he will let himself in tomorrow to look at the damp in the bathroom, I'm at home in the morning so have asked that he comes then but I won't hold my breath :j PAID VERY, Barclaycard x3, Vanquis, Natwest, O/D, Tesco & MBNA x2 PAID :j LBM 24/07/15 - Original Debt: £0/31010.23 (100% paid)

That's terrible. He is breaking rules of the tenancy right there. You are well out of it. How wonderful about the house" Your vibe attracts your tribe":D
