Orange Ena, I was so proud! I'll be honest, I would have bought meatballs but I already have 2 packs in the freezer from the last visit :rotfl:

Thanks ABA and Orange Ena for the mould remover recommendations - how ridiculous that it didn't even cross my mind! I bleached the wall last night and it didn't shift it so I was panicking. I'm off to buy some mould and mildew remover after work then :)

I got the keys to my new office on Friday so have spent today mostly on my own here while phone systems etc are fitted.

Met the previous companys cleaners on Friday and it was an experience and a half! We aren't keeping them on as we have always done our own cleaning and they were not pleasant about it at all. I hate the idea of people losing their jobs (which they haven't as they are actually continuing with the original company at their new location) but we can't outlay on a job we don't have any need for. They were not impressed with this answer and spent the next 20 minutes telling me about a man that died in the building who haunts only women. It completely freaked me out for the first few hours this morning, what a baby :o

I went and found the mould and mildew remover after work and it was a godsend! I can't believe the difference it made! Thanks so much for recommending it :)

I have been making a massive effort to sell things on eBay/facebook this month and I have someone coming to collect some bits tonight - should be £70 and I'm going to try and pay half off the debt....technically I'm still on Septembers pay so I'm not breaking my reduced PAD-ing rule....and I'm still saving some for house things so best of both Worlds....plus it's money we wouldn't normally have had coming in so it's money of the debt and saved that we didn't expect....

Must stop trying to justify it, I need to get out of debt and will do that in any way I can, as long as it doesn't impact OH too much :)

Well after my excitement about my facebook sales the people didn't turn up and haven't answered my messages

Not much annoys me as much as rudeness - if people change their minds I just wish they would let me know, especially since one of the items was in demand and had 5 people asking about it. Hopefully one of them is still interested

:T yay glad you got some. You're very welcome! I think I found a recommendation on here and it worked for me :)

Why do people do that? It is so rude. I used to offer stuff on freecycle and people used to ask for it then not come and bother to fetch it. I started adding a bit to my post saying please only ask for this item if you're actually willing to come and get it. Kind of obvious but some people need obvious I think! Hope you've managed to sell it to one of the others. :)

I bought another bottle after I cleaned the spare room so will be able to do the other rooms before we move out :)

I think I'll start doing the same! It was a TV, I've got another lady coming to look at it tomorrow so fingers crossed she will want it :)

All helps the debt, and the house furnishing fund!

I find myself in rather a foul mood today, and I'm not entirely sure why! I've come across a few people today who have a bit of a 'holier than thou' attitude and it grates on me at the best of times, which probably hasn't helped.

Have been chasing the solicitors as our vendor has responded to all queries raised and our solicitor then lied and said they hadn't received them (found out it was a lie when they said the opposite to the estate agent) and now they won't call me back to give me an actual update which I'm finding frustrating as earlier this morning they said we could be able to do an earlier exchange and completion

Everything seems to be going wrong with the office move (broadband not live when it was supposed to be, line installs gone wrong, number diverts not in place etc) which is also causing headaches, plus a manager who is supposed to lock up is going out with the boss tonight and so has decided to leave early which means I have to stay late to lock up

OH seems to expect me to be able to answer anything to do with the mortgage and gets stroppy if I say I don't know. Which leads me to post questions. I am so very grateful for the help and advice I've received from numerous different people regarding many areas of problems/questions to do with my finances, but sometimes I feel like people respond just to make a sarcastic comment and that riles me too (nothing to do with my diary, not trying to offend)

So sorry for that but I feel a million times better just for getting it off my chest. Please don't think I'm always like this if you stumble across my diary on your travels!

Well I was a happy soul earlier today :rotfl: apologies those who were subjected to reading my rant! I feel like this is my 'safe place' where I am allowed to say exactly what's going on in my mind, but sometimes perhaps I should save it for an actual diary that no-one is allowed to read :o

Anyway, I'm in a much better mood now, mainly because I've managed to leave work, which is always a bonus :D

Hope everyone else has had a lovely day (hopefully not dampened by reading my rant!)

  • Of course you're allowed to say what you like - it's your diary! This is your safe place and you've seen my diary. It's a place you can come to be completely anonymous and get everything off your chest. And it probably helped you as well as you're feeling a bit better.
I have days like that all the time - usually when I'm really stressed out I find I have zero tolerance for anything else.
