Hi again Monie!

I was the same with diaries until some lovely MSE-ers pointed me in the direction of the subscribe tool and now I get emails with updates to about 20 diaries, sometimes takes me a couple of hours to read through updates so I don't often comment!

Food and drink related truces are my favourite, especially if it involves wine or chocolate :rotfl:

Had a really lovely time with OHs family, had a few too many sherbets yesterday and then my parents were in the area and came to meet us for today and we went on an open top bus tour and had a prosecco cream tea, proper touristy day! Not the cheapest, but we did budget for it (I'd have just stuck it on credit cards a few months ago, so that was a proud moment!)

Hello all!

Well we finally got the amazing news that our mortgage has been approved and was offered this afternoon I've never been so happy/relieved/drained all at the same time!

The searches have been started so I'm hoping we are in by the end of November, all being well. Our first Christmas in our first proper home together

Thank you ABA, I'm on cloud 9 at the moment - although now the mortgage offer has gone through I just want to start chasing solicitors....I won't be truly happy until we are putting the christmas tree up in our lounge :rotfl:

I'm pleased with the deal we've got (2 year fixed at 3.78) I know it's not the best out there but with the issues we have (my debt, OHs complete lack of credit history) I am more than pleased with it....also, it works out at almost £90 per month cheaper than renting even after the additional buildings and life insurances :T
