My OH and I got back from various places and found someone had parked right across our drive. There were very few other cars parked in the road so it's not like she had had nowhere to park. I parked my car about 20mm from her rear bumper and DH parked his van about 20mm from her front bumber. After about twenty minutes there was a knock on the door. "Can you move one of your cars please so I can get out?". "Has it caused you any inconvenience?" asked Hubby. "Yes it has," was her reply. "How do you think your inconvenience compares to the inconvenience of not being able to use our own driveway?"

It was lucky she hadn't blocked us in and there had been an emergency etc.

Do you want somebody to do it for you?

Every time you get advice you find a reason why it doesn't suit.

This is the first detailed answer. That's why I keep asking. Apart from two answers that mention the V888 but don't go into any detail, all the other answers have been: 1) stupid suggestions about vigilante tactics; 2) suggestions that would involve considerable effort on my part (hours wasted every year blocking and unblocking my drive); 3) suggestions that ignore the fact that the perpetrator's car is not currently on my drive; 4) needless personal attacks. So thank you.

    What do you actually want?

Somebody to fill the form in for you?

Glad I could be of assistance. Now go fill in the form and in 6-8 months when you get a response from DVLA come back and let us know how you got on.

My advice is to give up. You seem reluctant to apply to the DVLA when they are the only people who can give the answers you want. If asking for keepers details is this stressful to you then writing a letter will be an enormous task.

    Let it go
  • Decent posts here form the start.

    Good advice:
    1.leave letter under windscreen

    2. lay in wait, confront the driver, give him an earful.

    3. buy a gate post,http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/FOLDING-SECURITY-POST-PARKING-DRIVEWAY-BOLLARD-FOLD-BOLT-DOWN-WITH-PADLOCK-LOCK-/260828022125. have a bricky smack a little bit of driveway entrance and dig hole fill with postcrete insert foldable bollard and smooth out cement cost in region of £200.00 all in.

    4. Rent the drive space.

SCARCASTIC (BUT EFFECTIVE) methods given to you.

    1.break an egg on it.

    2. Swap around number plates OR completely remove them and hold them to ransom.

    3. Treat it as a bird feeder, throw bird all over it and watch the local birds have some guano fun all over it.

    4. Tape a latex glove over exhaust tip and hear it go bang when he drives off.

    5. Spud up the exhaust.

    6. Spread SHI()T under door handles.

    7. Deflate all tires and snap off all the Schrader valves to prevent inflation of said flat tires and hope they have recovery!

    9. Insert horse manure through the external grilles on the windscreen cowling, so when the blowers are on all they will smell is horse manure (this is a favorate among rental cars along with urinating in the wash bottle).

    10. Use spray glue to post a polite notice on the windscreen, side window and rear window sunroof also!.

But it seems to me the parking is not the issue for you but gaining the RK name and address is via DVLA. Personally I would have a mate with a nice big 4x4 come round and drag its a$$ into the street off my drive and leave in the middle of the road.

Tyre valve core removers...just loosen them (1-4) slightly...no harm done?!

Bonus is if they have foot pump is watching them try to re-inflate the tyre with a now leaking valve!

Every single one of those will either find you with a charge for criminal damage, or with a broken nose. Best of luck.
