Some punk keeps parking on my drive

Nigh on 90 replies and you still can't go and get a form and get the information for £2.50. I suppose DVLA might reject your request but as this rate you will die before you find out.
I've even given a link to download it. I don't know what more I can say. Reasonable cause is at the discretion of the DVLA. All you can do is explain why you need the details and see if they accept the reason. There are no hard and fast rules.0 -
sounds to me like they will continue to park there then....GC Jan £431.490/£480.00  £48.51 under budget!0

1. why can you not put a note on if you see them on t he drive again, take picture of said note on car with something to show date on next to it
2, if that fails and the car turns up again then contact dvla direct to explain situation and see if you meet the criteria they need to supply details - if you do then you can write to them personally
3, if that fails then solicitors letter with bill for costs of that letterI am responsible me, myself and I alone I am not the keeper others thoughts and words.0 -
To people saying that even parking across your own drive (when the other vehicle is parked there) is a criminal offence - you're wrong. It is only an offence if the intent is to prevent the (offending) vehicle from leaving ... if the other driver knocks your door to ask you to let them out, and you do so within a reasonable time, then no offence is committed.
(As some others have already said). This has been discussed here previously, and in the Parking board, and the above was the consensus of opinion from people who (IMHO) know what they're talking about.0 -
Take some photos of the car and write on them 'For Sale' and attach to some local lamp posts etc.0

90 replies and I haven't had an answer to my questions yet. Can this be construed as 'reasonable cause' and will the lack of proof be a problem? You are, of course, one of the 90 that haven't answered. Be constructive please.0 -

Looks like you've replaced your original words "or sling your hook" with "please" I imagine your original post was the real youYour questions have been answered over and again and many of them are very constructive.

May be they do it to wind you up. If your chosen course of action is to request information from DVLA so that you can let them know that you know who they are and where they live, then do it, what more do you need to know? Reasonable cause will be on the website, or established through a phone call. Tracing an owner of a car parked illegally on private land is reasonable cause if that land is yours, ask them if you can issue a parking ticket while your on :wall:

My preferred solution is the V888, but I'd like to hear more, as the 'reasonable cause' for submitting a request is unclear to me. Is this a reasonable cause? And is no proof enough proof? I've had one or two answers on this above.
That will only tell you the registered keeper, not the driver.0
