Hi all, I had my 2nd NSD yesterday. Today was a fairly big top up shop, including stocking up on tinned mackerel in different sauces which DH like to take to work for his lunch some days. Bought half a dozen tins so hopefully that will be enough until we go on holiday at the end of the month; plenty of bread in the freezer for sandwiches and he also takes leftovers if there are any.
Also topped up my tinned tomatoes as used the last tin for yesterday's curry, so half dozen tins there as well.
Did most of my shopping in Lidl's, first time as only recently opened so have only been in previously when been out and about with DH and usually end up buying rolls & cakes:eek: which definitely are never on the list! Spent a total of £13.29 in there.
Then had to go to Sainsbugs to get a few bits I couldn't get in Lidls, which costed another £9.85!
Lidl's is definitely better value and have to say I prefer it to Aldi.
Total spend to date is now £36.88/£250.

I saw it on one of the threada on here yesterday, it is one egg, beaten.
One banana mashed and then mixed all together.
You then preheat a pan with some oil and cook like small pancakes, each one about a table spoonful of mixture. Cook for 2 mins on each side Xx
I forgot to add, the riper the banana, the better. I got super reduced bananas from the co0p as they were perfectly ripe. XLBM: NOVEMBER 2011 || debt free date:30/06/15 || The Fighting Debt Army: #442 || Frugal Living Challenge 2018 || January 2018 Grocery £1.22/£100 ||0 -
Hi All,
Hope you're all well. Hoping I can join in again, had a rather large shop of £45 yesterday! Only went to the supermarket for 6 things and ended up with a trolley load...argh!!!
I'm aiming for £130 for the month (2 people and a cat!).

No spending to report so far, but might need to pick up some milk tonight.
My husband is doing some DIY for his mum so getting his dinner there tonight. Means I can save the planned sausage traybake for tomorrow and just have something quick and simple tonight. Think there's one baking potato left in the fridge so might pick the eyes off (lol) and have with beans and cheese.Part time working mum | Married in 2014 | DS born 2015 & DD born 2018 | Allegedly attempting to be mortgage free - diary here0
