I let myself down today and gave in to my husbands nagging. He wanted a take away instead of the tea we had planned. But instead I got him to agree to getting something nice to eat later this evening from the supermarket. Spent £4.29 at Mr T's on some dips and bread sticks. Didnt really need it so a bit disappointed.

    Clocking in with £12.71p today.

Not too bad considering I picked up a side of salmon for £5.53p thanks to Mr M's current offer on it and also my Nephew's discount (he is the fishmonger there). DH and I had a portion each for dinner tonight, the rest will be portioned and put in the freezer for later :)

I also got a stuffed pork loin joint reduced from £7 to £3.49p so that will be our Sunday treat with some of the veg I already have in stock.

The remaining amount went on small bits to complete meal plan for today and tomorrow.

I just restarted my Bullet Journal also, which is a great way for keeping track of life! I am going to spare a couple of pages for menu planning and budget tracking.

Welcome itmustgetbetter! Good luck for your first grocery challenge.

Realised I forgot to post my meal plan yesterday. I've actually expanded it to be more than a week as I'm sure I can get it lasting longer:

    Sweet potato tacos
    Spag bol (sauce in freezer)
    Salmon and yakisoba noodles
    Sausage traybake
    Veg curry (from freezer)
Soup, toasties and some kind of dessert
    Roasted veg arrabiata
    Mac and cheese

I also have two more meals worth of sausages so may make sausage casserole or get potatoes to make sausage and mash.
