Lose Weight 37

- 2lbs since last Wednesday. Exercise and diet, as again, remained the same. What has been different is not feeling like going out much, or far. Did some gardening today, to collect anything edible before the potential frosty weather arrives.
Thanks fredsnail.

Hey guys.
I had my halfway weigh in for my gym challenge on Friday. Been getting some good results.
I have only lost 4lbs (according to their scales) but my body fat % has gone down by 5.6%!!!
(The challenge was to lose either 20lbs or 5% body fat)
I think I haven't been losing the lbs as I expected as its been turning to muscle, I'm definately seeing more definition in my shoulders and legs.
This has made me re-think my long term goals, I'm currently 13 stone, and for my height according to BMI I should be between 9st5 - 11st11, so my goal was to get to 10st, in the middle.
I did get down to 11.5 years ago, and I looked very gaunt, it was hard to maintain my weight at that level. My target is now to just get to 12 st and bring my body fat down. Even thou at 12st I will still be classed as 'overweight' I think it will be a sustainable weight and I can concentrate on keeping fit, rather than just lighter.
So my new target is to lose 22.2lb this year, I've lost 6.8 already, so 15.4 to go!

Well done x_raphael_xx it's surprising how most people are now moving away from the scales - over the last 18 months I've not lost a huge amount of weight - but I have dropped dress sizes because like you I've been losing body fat and still have a long way to go - but will be keeping going.0

Thank you Fred
I always knew BMI was a little hit & miss any, due to peoples differnt body styles etc. But when I was 16 stone, it was a good goal to aim for. As I'm getting closer it's now more 'fine tuning'

Well done x_raphael _ xx on your recent results. It was interesting to read about your (and fredsnail's) viewpoints/progress. I think I need to reassess my own situation.
These are my results from the last week :-
STS but actually quite pleased, as it has been a difficult week and month (diet, exercise and other things).
Average weekly calories continue to "creep up" but did a lot of indoor biking all month. Last week, went out on two tougher bike rides (distance and cold weather). Also, the usual local shopping bike trips.
For October 2018, outdoor cycling = 31.5 miles.
Thanks for everything this month fredsnail.0 -
Surprised with a -2.2 lb loss this week.
Thought I'd snuck one too many treat and wasn't expecting a loss.
I have finished my triathlon challenge! It was bitterly cold over the weekend, so I finished the last 9km of cycling in the gym.

1.2lb loss this week
Fred you marked me up as a 4.4 loss last week, it was 2.2. I don't think you added my 0.2 gain from a couple of weeks before either.
My total loss for this year should be 10.2lbs as of todayDebt Free as of 17/01/2009 Turtle Power!!

+ 2lbs since last week. Started to do some weight training again, two short walks, preparing the garden plants for winter and a lot of indoor biking were done. Waiting for some spare parts as the outdoor bike needs repairing again. Diet more or less the same as the week before.
Thanks fredsnail.
