Hello everyone. Merry Christmas and happy new year.
I was a member of this group years ago, I think I had a different username back then. (I remember you though FredSnail and the monthly challenges! I think we climbed Everest about 6 years ago!)
Anyway since then I’ve gained two lovely daughters and a lot of baby weight!!
I was wondering if I could join you again please for some help and support during my weight loss journey.
    Thanks

Welcome back Poppy - Everest still makes a regular appearance :rotfl:

Congrats on the 2 daughters and good luck on your weight loss journey - we're here to help and support :T

    2017 results :-

    + 6lbs.
Outdoor bike = 344 miles (38 miles more than 2016).

Thanks for everything last year (2017) fredsnail.

    You're very welcome :)

Well done Dannie - that's really good miles on the bike. Don't get disheartened on the gain over the year.

    Hi and thanks FredSnail.
I’d like to join the 5lb challenge please!
Ideally I’m hoping to lose 7lb by mid Feb which would take me down to 12 stone exactly by my baby’s first birthday!

Does walking count as exercise that can go towards the challenge? I don’t do much exercise (although I’ve ordered some work out DVDs to hopefully start soon) but I do a small amount of walking most days and I do a dance class once a week. If that all counts then I’d like to travel to Melbourne with you please!

Hi Poppy, yes walking will count as exercise for the challenge. I will accept any exercise :) and in the summer gardening is also accepted :).

    Good luck with your goal.:j
  • Just a miniscule 0.1 lbs loss for me this week. BF bought some new scales which connect to your phone via an app. Waaay more complicated than a set of scales needs to be. It took me most of the evening to sign up and register (why?!) and work out how to actually weigh myself!

Did a 10k race on sunday, not a PB but beat my time for the same race last year by 9 minutes :) very pleased with my efforts.
Had a PT session yesterday and off to boxing tonight.

Thanks for your message fredsnail about my 2017 results. I have mixed feelings about these results. However, it felt nice to receive your comments.

STS since last Wednesday. Mainly used the indoor bike as "barriers" to going out cycling. Diet about the same.
