Ive just signed up and i'm shocked at the difference from Noddle to this, it is stating i don't have a CCJ when Noddle says i do... Which do you believe, half of the debt Noddle says i have this one said the accounts are closed so well over half my debt is gone... I'm really shocked, which one is to be believed ?0

CCJ is public record and will or should be the same on all 3 CRAs. If its not showing up on this then shows its more than a bit 'shonky'. Looking at this firms directors they look to have a history with tdx insolvency and debt sale so seems quite likely this is in part a data mining enterprise to benefit their debt collector mates.Still rolling rolling rolling......

Only you know what debts you currently have, so even if they don’t show up on one credit reference agency file, doesn’t mean they are any less valid if they show up on the other two agencies files.
Also, if half of your debt is wiped out on this new one, it can be detrimental or beneficial to you depending on which way you look at it. Detrimental as any applications you make in the future, lenders might think you have little to no credit history / low credit limits / not long enough proof of repayment of other debts and decline you on that basis.I'm a Board Guide on the Credit Cards, Loans, Credit Files & Ratings boards. Thank you for posting the link.
Have signed up and all of my accounts (open and closed) are present and correct.
If anything the data seems slightly more up to date than Noddle. It's not your credit score that counts, it's your credit history. Any replies are my own personal opinion and not a representation of my employer.0 -
I agree with your summisation engineer amy.
That's quite a long way from completely arbitrary.
It's a indiaction and if mine moved drastically then I'd want to investigate it further even though it's not based on full information.0 -

You will also find clearly written in Noddle's policy that they will also share details with debt collection agencies. So they are no different. It's free and informative, I don't have any debt or anything to hide so it's fine for most people.
It beats paying the high monthly / single cost every time to Equifax and that's 2 out of the 3 major CRAs free to check now.
They both make money from the above and affiliate through credit card offers. Noddle additionally makes money from those useless add ons too.0 -
Great news that's Equifax and Callcredit for free, just need Experian to get their act together. Never agreed with paying too see your credit file0

Just out of curiosity, why are people prepared to allow an unknown company, with a completely unknown track record, access to a large part of their personal credit file?
All you know about the company is this:
Are you part of a bigger company?
No, ClearScore is not owned by anyone else. We have received investment from QED Investors, Brightbridge Ventures and Blenheim Chalcot to create ClearScore.
We are also partnered with Equifax, who provide us with your credit report and score which we then show to you.
It has no track record, no history, no proper credentials - just a trading link with an entirely separate company, Equifax, in the same way that Tesco has a trading link with its suppliers.
Do you not see the risks here - for fraud and misuse of data?0
