Thanks for warning us guys (really), but looks like we are grown up enough to make our own decisions and decide what risks we want to take.
For me it looks legit.
Any info out there is a risk, so is getting on plane, tube, bus, car, so is getting up in the morning.
I don't see how a bank could claim this was negligence given the companies credentials so that is scaremongering.0 -
Just signed up took about 5min. No problems encountered. Has same info more or less than noddle. Only bonus for me had a ccj from 5 years ago not showing on either noddle or clear score . Makes a mortgage easier to get year early I hope.0

Interestingly it doesn't have details of my two N&P Gold Classic accounts, which both have a £250 overdraft facility. Noddle does.0

Thanks for this
Signed up to see my Equifax report, and have a nose at my score.
Interestingly my credit 'score' with them is 149/700 (closer to what I'd expect at the moment). Which makes Noddle's 461 look even more ridiculous - even if that were out of 1,000 (which it doesn't seem to be).
I like these lot though, they only list 'clean' accounts (still open, and non-defaulted). Makes it a lot easier to have a look through and see what should/shouldn't be there0 -
Just signed up. Looks good.
Just need something similar for Experian now.0 -
Got the Equifax 30 days trial to compare. The "credit score" is exactly the same... it could be luck, but it seems that they get it directly from Equifax instead of calculating its own number from the report information.
Some wrong information, but it's also wrong in Equifax (but right in Noddle...). The different presentation actually made me notice it in ClearScore even when I had looked at Equifax first. I said "different" presentation because it's prettier, but I'm still trying to decide if it's better.
Equifax still has the advantage of being able to generate a report at any moment. In ClearScore, like in Noddle, you only get it once a month.
Asking for your salary at registration is indeed quite silly. You could argue that it's to be able to send you the right offers, but...
a) To check credit cards eligibility it asks you your salary again
b) "My Account" has not an option to update your salary.
So it makes no sense whatsoever.
The website still has a couple of "Coming soon" extra features sections.0 -
Mine gets stuck in a loop about addresses for previous addresses after I answer my identity questions.0
