Interestingly my credit 'score' with them is 149/700 (closer to what I'd expect at the moment). Which makes Noddle's 461 look even more ridiculous - even if that were out of 1,000 (which it doesn't seem to be).
I think the maximum Noddle score is 800.
As you suggest, I wouldn't worry about it. Mine nosedived and I ended up with a 4/5 rating a couple of months ago.
Then I received a letter from Halifax upping the credit limit on one of my cards. Careful inspection of my Noddle report shows that Halifax had credited checked me before upping my limit. Obviously this relatively small thing was enough to give Noddle the wobbles.
Noddle upped me to 5/5 last month and I've been celebrating ever since thanks to Halifax's generosity. :rotfl:0 -

Mine was 600 and something and quite close to the top of the chart so looks like 700 or 800 anyway.
I wouldn't get too worried, these should only be used an an indication IMO.
I think it's rong to say it's a made up number but it's not based on complete information either, so not worth taking too seriously.0 -
Interesting outme here as I was stuck on the first page of the registration. Checked my emails and there is an email asking to confirm registration from (removed). But with it comes flagged warnings of a potential scam -
Thunderbird thinks this message is a scam. The links in the message may be trying to impersonate web pages you want to visit. Are you sure you want to visit mandrillapp.com?
Looking this up, I get -altered for posting ******
The links may not work as I'm new here but who or what is mandrillapp.com?
Any thoughts?0 -

Mandrill app is a mail relay provider, instead of people running their own mail server they opt to use relays which have good reputation with mail providers which increases the chances of mail landing directly to the inbox.
I can see my confirmation url is also under mandrill, this is basically so Clearscore can see how many people click their links. You can see in the email a copy and paste link directly to Clearscore as well.
It is safe so possibly a false possitive on Thunderbird.

Clearscore now show up on FCA register so looks good to me now.0 -

Much better than Noddle, just used it ad it showed my recently-applied-for current accounts which are not shown on my Noddle report.
By using data gathered from Equifax, they are much more accurate. Next is the Experian one which would be the best.
Glad I didn't bother to order my Equifax report last month after an argument with their customer service staff (they are useless)!"Real knowledge is knowing the extent of one's ignorance."0 -

By using data gathered from Equifax, they are much more accurate. Next is the Experian one which would be the best.
When I checked for the first time:
* CallCredit
- Had made a mess with the addresses. There were lots of duplicates with slightly different formats.
- Didn't have me in the electoral roll (but had just moved)
When told, they fixed it quite fast.
* Equifax
- One missing current account
- Most of the credit agreements listed on my previous address
When told, they replied without reading was I was telling them. Took a while to fix.
No excuse for the outdated address. The other 2 had it right, and I had been in the new place for 1 year.
* Experian
- One credit card missing.
- Didn't have me in the electoral roll. No excuse.
They fixed the electoral roll part. But even after telling them, they have never added the credit card.
The one that has been having the most accurate information about me has been CallCredit for a long time. Precisely because of Noddle.
IMHO lenders should tell Experian to go !!!! itself and go for CallCredit.0
