When I had a 3 data SIM contract, the amount they added each month was displayed as 5120 MB.

I'm now thinking of trying this 30GB Vectone offering, but 2 or 3 years ago when I was able to check, EE didn't have a decent signal at my home. So, is there a cheaper way of checking than just paying the £7.50 to Vectone? I'm currently getting 4G with FreedomPop, although they use 3 so probably not relevant.

An Asda sim will do it, even comes with a minimum amount of data, mins & texts to try it out.

    So it does....

    Get your free SIM

To welcome you to the network you get 10 minutes, 10 texts and 10MB of data for free for your first 30 days

However, I don't think I'll bother now as it appears that the 2nd and subsequent months will be charged at £15.

30GB @ 1p per MB is £307.20, so I suspect that you're not getting the full whack.
    I thought, I'm a penny tight! :D

    .......................................................
Vectone... checked CC- no payments taken...
got back on site and ORDERED new one without a single glitch (using DebitC )

What does this mean, you do realise there are 1000MB in a GB (gigabyte) of data?

1024MB is now called a GiB (gibibyte)

If you actually read the posts in a thread you could have already educated yourself to the differences between a gigabyte and gibibyte.

A gigabyte has only been standardised as 1000MB for between 1 and 2 decades depending on which Standards body you refer to...
In 1998 the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) published standards for binary prefixes, requiring that the gigabyte strictly denote 10003 bytes and gibibyte denote 10243 bytes. By the end of 2007, the IEC Standard had been adopted by the IEEE, EU, and NIST, and in 2009 it was incorporated in the International System of Quantities.

Without being entirely sure how to puoup, I'd just say that one day a genie could make your wishes come true, Aladdin, so choose them well...
