better be avoided, again and again...

Old man on the £10 unlimited, works perfect city wide with a Lumia, except the local supermarket which coverage is patchy the further from the front of the store/windows.

No idea how much data he uses as got broadband for at home when Lyca slashed his data, used his allowance when he was tethering but it became uneconomical with the data slash - numerous billing issues, USSD and online issues changing things in account online even though both were conforming changes they just did not happen with Lyca, topped with very poor customer care & a low grasp of good english listening skills on several calls, however they were great english when (no doubt from reading over and over) their script was in use.

Even getting a PAC was a massive issue but I called and got it within 1 min ;)

#TOPtip - Always find asking for a PAC easy when you say you are moving and no signal at new house the first time they challenge you by not processing PAC as requested ;)

Voda UK is just a cash cow for Voda worldwide, has been a long time, the £ is its strongest market and asset. It may also become its undoing lol

No sympathy for him, he was stupid and rightly got a default.

You don't just cancel the direct debit and stop using the sim, what did he think was going to happen?
Cliff Savage, who lives with wife Sarah in Corby, Northamptonshire, was a customer of Vodafone on and off for around 20 years without a problem. That is until a couple of years ago when he upgraded his phone and the signal kept failing.

He took it to his local store to complain, but staff said they could find nothing wrong with the Samsung handset.

Fed up, in August 2013 he took out a new handset and contract with Tesco Mobile – and stopped using his old phone. He also cancelled his monthly direct debit to Vodafone.

He says: ‘Two months later, I started receiving letters from Vodafone asking for payment. After the poor service I’d had I was reluctant to pay another penny.’

A short while later he received debt collection letters.
Cliff called Vodafone to dispute the charges, on the basis that it had not provided a service worth paying for, and to agree a reasonable settlement to close the account.

Considering as how impossible to deal with VodaFlobies, one without extensive knowledge might as well get frustrated and instead of spending (already spent) hours talking to monkeys, listening to lies, just given up in warmongery and did as what seemed last resort- cancel payments... and very fairly not using the SIM...
Knowing as how big and effective (unduly) their powers in credit scheme, it is more of an failure of scheme, than fault of punter. my $0.02ct;)

    Any fresher-better deals about?
3.co.uk gone (out of any remaining competitiveness) and good riddance, EE don't have no more data promotion,
    Asda promotion ended
smaller as Globe and Life seemed to be still on
am I missing something to test?

website down, servers no longer point to the companies but hutchcity.com one of the distant relative companies of 3 family.

How is your o2 signal ?
