Hi guys, anybody know for sure changes to MVNOs in take over of EE in will mean?
Asking as lifemobile.co.UK still saying that their plans are there for good and they offer 4G!!!??? Which BT is to monopolize ?

BT have currently got nothing to do with which MVNO gets 4G, it's been EE policy to restrict 4G from the MVNOs for years and the BT Mobile (not BT per se) MVNO agreement was concluded before BT made the offer to purchase EE.

Also, Life Mobile appear to use the 3G network and don't have access to 4G, at least according to their website.
    Welcome to LIFE Mobile...

LIFE Mobile offers a range of SIM Only tariffs to suit the needs of everyone, whether you’re an occasional talker or always connected to your mobile.
Established in 2013, we’ve already connected over 100,000 customers to our network.

With 3G coverage to over 99% of the UK population on EE’s award-winning network, you’ll rarely struggle to fill those signal bars.
To check if your area has sufficient 3G coverage, enter your town or postcode into our handy Coverage Checker.

LIFE Mobile runs on EE – the UK’s No.1 network. With coverage across more than 99% of the UK population, you'll rarely struggle to fill those signal bars.

To check if your area has sufficient network coverage though, just pop either a place name or postcode into our coverage checker below and we'll tell you how well covered you are for the calls, texts and internet on 3G and 2G.

Thanks guys for clearing few things up..
Lets say iD Mobile has been considered, HAS BEEN! :)

Honestly I got so many of them SIM's, lost as what to test next, but one thing for sure, I will try FreedomPOP, as paid for the "postage" £1.99, though unsure if it is going to be any good and I WILL test ASDA SIM, but currently credits on the rest of them, makes me want to use up those.

OK, I'll explicitly remind you- swearing is bad... :D

Out of ten, how would you rate them, being a customer of iD?

Seriously, (apart from half decent coverage) how would you rate average speed of data?
    TY!

    lol

Coverage is good, speeds are 5-6 MB on 3 and 4G, which EE is the same, I am just off a city centre less than a kilometre and 4G seems to be city centre only on either network with a vague signal at home.

Voda and o2 have actual 4G city wide.

So yeah it works, but coverage maps are 4G city wide when they are not for 3/EE. This is one of the main cities in Scotland, where 4G covers 1 of the EE stores and 3G in the shopping centre for 3 and other EE store but obviously and ironically the 4G signal is penetrated from that shopping centre roof but cannot penetrate the solid concrete walls :rotfl:

Given o2 and Voda are expensive is why they probably have city wide 4G.

I will be cancelling tomorrow with 30 days notice because I pay for 4G that is non existent in the city except the very heart of it.

    Still I get a free 4G mifi unit ;)

Have not checked but its from CPW so we will see, a few quid to unlock it anyway which much cheaper than the E5573 retail price of circa £60

Yup, almost guarantee- Huawey locks all of their modems and presumably MiFi's. I had one, that I managed to unlock (free of course :P ) particular model seems to be new and worth spending few pennies to unlock.:money:

iD mobile: Painless cancellation, just said no 4G, 3G speeds were poor so giving 30 days notice, 2 minute call, will have to pay 3 days service on next billing period. Done.
