  • Hello Everyone,

I've skim read the gossip today so apologies if I miss anyone.

Pooky - good luck finding your other cousin and big hugs generally (((()))

JCR - CONGRATS! That's ace news, so very pleased for you!

Mr P and Donny Gal - happy burf day! May this year be all you wish for and more.

Tooties - glad you're out of hospital now, you know we're all here if you need a chat or anything. Big cuddles ((((((((((()))))))

Annie - I also have a lumpy boob but like yourself did get it checked out a couple of years ago and it's just a cyst, not malignant and so nowt to worry about. You do have the option to have them out but mine is small and hasn't changed in shape/size so I've decided to leave it alone. So don't worry but good luck at the docs nonetheless.

Anyway, life with me is fairly dull and uneventful right now.

Sat down with DH last night to go through finances (again) and after a good 2 hours of it, we agreed to disagree on the particulars but I think we have the same "vision" - his is just in slow and mine is oober-fast! Agreed to leave it for a month or so to give him time to sort his finances out a bit more so will have to remember to actually do that now and not keep mentioning it with new ideas etc!!!

Working at home again today as off to see consultant with my mum re: her breast cancer later today. Funny but until last night I kept thinking and calling it a malignant lump and then my mum used the word "cancer" and it hit me, that's what it is and me not acknowledging it isn't making it go away. So feeling a bit shell shocked and scared of course but trying to remain positive until we know what's what.

And I figure if I write it down here, I'll have to do it so I'm planning to go for a run today - even if it's just 20 mins round the block. Right, now I have no excuse :o!!!

Anyway, I ought to get on for now so wish you all lovely Wednesdays and sending everyone a hug and kiss,
    NTL

DH left me until 10am, saying I needed the rest:D Ah bless him;) Lovely, but does mean I'll spend the rest of the day playing catch-up.

Pooky hope you trace your other cousin soon. What a tragedy for her sister, and such a sad time for you all. ((((hugs)))))

    jcr16 :j congratulations!!!!! How exciting:D

Crazychik we have TPS and it has made a huge difference! Never had the text business you speak of:confused: But I do know, the very occasional call we get, as soon as I mention TPS, most apologise and can't get off the phone quick enough:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

Lovely sunny day here after all the rain we had yesterday, so washing can go out. Had to use TD yesterday, and it made the house way too hoticon9.gif

Haribo have a lovely visit from your Dbrother and kids on Saturday. Wouldn't be going to give them something with broccoli would you?:rotfl: See I'm psychic:cool:

Welcome to all newbies from the last few days:T :D Looking forward to reading your news.

    Morning all!

Have a lot planned today but am taking it easy this morning! Am working at lunchtime, should be home by 2pm though, so that's good. Then I can get cracking on some sorting out of the bathroom (after I've had a long, soothing bath after I've got back from work-an afternoon bath seems to help my aches!), and when OH is up this evening I can do my Flying properly!

Right, a cuppa and the new Book People mag, then will prob have to make myself a yummy bagel and go to work!

    Everything crossed for Scuzz
Hugs to those who need/want them
Birthday wishes to everyone celebrating today
    xx

  • Hi again,

Thanks for all your thoughts and good wishes re *the lump*.

welcome to the shuffs I'm sure you will like it here.
tooties (((hugs))) to you. Someone here is always willing to listen and offer support.
sharron hope you feel better soon.
elona hope the viewers decide to go to offer on your house.
crazychik I registered with the Telephone Preference Service even though I'm ex-directory and I *still* get the odd phone call. I mention the TPS but their excuse? "We have a dialling system that randomly dials numbers within the chosen code area so you can still be phoned. Sorry." They are very few and far between though.
jcr16 many congratulations on your pregnancy. :j
ellie have a hug from me. (((hugs))) Hope you DH finds a *real* job soon. It was sweet of him to leave the note for you. He must be feeling a tad guilty.
Haribo I didn't know that pain was a good sign when cysts are involved! I'm having to wear one of my oldest, saggiest bras today as my new supportive ones press too firmly on the cyst and leaves me in agony. :rotfl: Must remember to change it before I see the doc!
never too late I have had cysts before but they were in my armpits (yuk! what an awful word). Consultant at the hospital said that they were so deep that they would need to cut most of my underarm away to make sure they got it all. Needless to say, I left them alone.

W**k is quiet today so I'm on here when I should be shredding, filing, etc. All the stuff that I hate doing basically. Must go and skype SMS boss to let him know that there are no emergencies though.

    Bye for now. xx

  • Hi all
I've just popped on here for a quick rant, I've mentioned before about my neighbour, well today she is having her fence replaced, her partner kicked it to pieces a few weeks ago in a fit of drunken rage!! this is the 2nd or 3rd time the fence has been replaced, though once it was because her partner drove his van through it when he was drunk! All this is being done at the tax payers expense, although they have 3 children together, the oldest is 16, he lives with his parents part time, so she can get full housing benefit. she told me once he doesn't mind her not working, well he wouldn't, would he, he isn't having to support her or the kids!
Ok, rant over, I'll climb off my soap box now.
