I have been using Revolut for many months and find it brilliant. I have now however almost reached £1500 and been asked to verify my ID. Can anyone help with how to do this please. I have been round and round without success. I have the photos they need but how to get them to them just doesn't seem to work. I can find no way of doing this on their site or in the App although it says verify in 30 seconds!! Any help gracefully received. Thanks.

When I reached that point I was given an email address by the app online support to send the photos they wanted and the verification was quickly sorted - sorry I don't have a copy of that address, but if you contact the app support team during their working hours they should be helpful (they were for me!!).
    Good luck!

The 30-sec method using the app often doesn't work. Then you just email the three photos (your face, passport title page, both together) to support[at]revolut.com from your registered email address, with your card number and/or phone number for reference. When they get around to check and approve it, your status will change to 'verify my identity: approved' on your profile in the app.

So the simplest way is to take the photos with your phone and attach them to an email message from your phone (assuming that your email account is on your phone).

Did they tell you what photos were needed, but not how and where to send them?

It would have been best to get verified before exceeding or approaching the £1000 limit allowed without verification.

I did ask support which card I'd receive but they didn't answer that question. It's worth pointing out that generally they've been good. I'll give them the benefit of the doubt as I did ask them many questions.
So does your emergency card feature your name, Simon?

I am also pleased with their performance in general, it's a brilliant product developed and run by a talented multi-ethnic team in the Canada House tech hub, without using some outsourced call centre.

They don't need proof of funds. They need to verify your identity. £1000 per annum.

Im travelling to Spain in early December, and I'm considering getting the Revolut card.

Is there any indication on the GBP to EUR rate? Is it competitive? Any other fees to consider?

Have you bothered to peruse the thread or are you too busy?

I guess I'm too busy. Will have a proper read through it later when I get a chance.

    Thanks for your help.

I think Minea is right, I have seen it written somewhere. It's to be expected, probably at their discretion what would be considered a large transaction or series of transactions. The most I have done is a $3000 load from a debit card and conversion to GBP, seems no problem.
