Morning all - it still feels chilly but at least its not raining :j“Create all the happiness you are able to create; remove all the misery you are able to remove. Every day will allow you, --will invite you to add something to the pleasure of others, --or to diminish something of their pains.”0

Morning
Hope you're all well, still finding it difficult to get on here
Did pop in yesterday to check what was glitching tho and ordered some mullers, so thanks for that
Sorry to those who are effected negatively by the budget. I think we will be marginally better off, though like mhoc says, it doesn't exactly cover the increases in living costs. I try to be grateful that I have a job and be happy with my lot in life but sometimes this money game really gets tedious. I guess it's just a loss of mojo, which will no doubt return soon
Well done on the walkers everyone, sounded like a fun gameFinal cigarette smoked 02/01/18

Firstly just had a quick glance at the Groupon and Living social deals for today
and I noticed that Hawstone Park is on offer again
Hawkstone Historic Park Follies: Family Entry from £15 (Up to 40% Off)
depending on when you want to go July or August and if you have 2 or 3 children.
This is a fabulous place esp if you have energetic children, take a picnic, might need a change of clothes if they get themselves muddy and sweaty“Create all the happiness you are able to create; remove all the misery you are able to remove. My second question of the day.
Mr !!!!!! has kindly sent me conditional spends for £20 shops :j
In theory I should be able to get cashback items etc ideally to end up with a TPP for £10 to roll over to week 2 and then week 3 etc
I can include a walkers but that's about the only MOCs I have - week one will be painfull, handing over real money
has anyone any suggestions pretty please.
Sadly its not worth me buying the BNI - the currys in the freezer wont even get touched ...“Create all the happiness you are able to create; remove all the misery you are able to remove. Thank you so much CouponKathy for getting me all of my boxes over the last 2 weeks, I am so So grateful to you, I wouldn't have got any if it wasn't for you.
I am getting some of the HOF vouchers from work next week so will drop a load in for you and your DD for your little trip out.
Thanks again. Night all x

You are very welcome Claire1972 - if your boss has plenty of HOFs, please can you split them between my DS and DD - as they are both after them! X
A house divided against itself cannot stand - I love this proverb, and thanks to my lovely family for making me realise that we can get through most things together0 -
I think we have to re focus our aims - increasing the family budget might be impossible but we can take what we have and stretch it as far as it can go - money does not have much lycra in it but you can flatten the edges out a bit and make it go that bit further.
And the actual process of being more inventive with what you have can be a lot of fun, you have to get your head to stop thinking negatively about it .Morning

Well further to my posts yesterday morning it all kicked off an hour later. I got up early and was going to go into work an hour early but at 7.45 phone rang and it was the farm foods to say they were delivering my Mums 1st lot of meals just after 8 and they understood the door would be open. I said no and said I would meet him there. then a few minutes later Mum rang to ask me to pop in as she didnt feel good. So I went up and she was ok just confused as she is on a lot of pain meds. So I made her a cup of t and gave her meds and wrote out a little chart with times etc for her and the carers. then i waited and waited for the man and he came just before 9.00 and then the carer arrived so in the end I was 15 minutes late for wwork.
I was fuming ( although I didnt convey this to mum ) and sent both of my sisters a text saying that it wasnt fair when neither of them were working but i was the one being late for work. ( one is back in geneva and the other was probably at the gym). Ended up having a shouting match with the younger who told me to f+++ off and put the phone down and hasnt been in touch since. The other one kind of agreed as the younger one had promised to stay with mum the 1st few days but as usual rescinded on her promise.
Got to work and had to take a deep breath and calm down.
then later i spoke to older one who blamed me because she paid some money into the wrong account whilst speaking to me and would now lose 200 swiss francs changing it back.
On the plus side I went and had my hair done but I still felt really down all day0 -
