    Good morning all...

Emotive topics covered overnight...and naturally the views differ....but all perspectives to me are interesting considering the uni situation is now the one we find ourselves heading towards.

I had a lovely conversation with the A towers yesterday afternoon concerning my treatment regarding the walker voucher instore....a gift card and apology are on its way.

I have to go and buy a fleecy mattress protector this morning....please dont ask why suffice to say its needed for a dressing up costume, and I thought my kids had all grown out of that phase long ago....but no its the OH who is going on a pub rally or something similar dressed as a sheep......

    No tinfoil here!
That's a trifle insulting to say the least. Having worked for a major pharmaceutical & seen first hand what they get up to (just for the almighty dollar) then you can deny all you want BUT you can also google and make you're own mind up as to what is correct or not.

This is a cracking 'work of fiction' but if you google you'll be amazed that a very high proportion of this is true. I've actually been amazed, having spent most of last night googling. There are very, very few books that make me do that.

I was even more amazed when I told hubby he needs to read this & he told me he already knew about all this as he'd had long discussions into the night many, many years ago about this with his mothers' friend who was a medical advisor to the government at the time. The friend was totally disgusted it was going on.

It's yet another 'Monsanto style' controversy that the government, the companies and individuals will do anything to discredit. Instead of just repeating what someone, who may very well have their own agenda, or be paid to write, writes then I suggest you do your own research and be astounded/shocked.

If anyone wants to read a book that is a very good read and that also makes you question, if you have a brain, then I'd suggest reading this. Don't rely on one persons review - (mine or someone elses's) who may have their own agenda.

Do you have the title of this book please as I can t find it.

Also most people have a limited circle of friends and family - mums you meet at the school gate, people you work with, parents of your kids friends, dog walkers you meet en route on your daily rambles etc - if you are constantly approaching them to help with your latest charity fund raising endeavours - to buy from your bake stall or pledge £? For your toddler walk or to sponsor you £? For your umpteenth sky dive etc eventually they are going to start avoiding you like the plague - compassion has its limits

a question please for any of the car experts on the group

Eldest son was looking at a car at a dealership on their webpage and he rang and made enquires and possibly also an appointment for a test drive. I also rang and asked a few questions next day.

Last night I checked the link that eldest son had sent me and the price has gone done by £450

why would a dealership drop the price of a car when they knew that they def had one interested person - this feels a bit suss to me or is this one of their Known Tactics for getting a sale?
