My husbands switch completed on 20th July to our existing joint account we hold but we haven't received our £200 as yet. I was expecting it by tomorrow so I will give them a call then to see whether it is due. It would be interesting to hear what MABLE & irms switch dates were.
ring them on 0800 30 20 11 open until 5pm and they can check their spreadsheet for you.0 -
Partner and I got £100 today after she switched in July. Not sure if I know anyone else that wants to switch but I do know the £75 cashback for a FlexDirect account via Quidco has barely any T&Cs. No restrictions on the number of times you can use it, and it's not restricted to new customers.0

Hi, Just to confirm if I refer my other half and if she refers me back - Does that mean will both get £200 each?
Thanks0 -
Did anyone get a remittance advice slip before they got the payment? My my sums I should be getting my £100 next month but got the remittance advice slip through the post yesterday...0

The ones we received were dated for the 17th, but they turned up in the post on the 19th, the same day the payments actually appeared. In the online statements they're all dated the 19th too.0 -
Seems such a waste of money, those remittance slips. If at least they'd send them by email, it would save trees and costs. Not sure my postie would agree, he loves people and companies who use snail mail.0

We switched into the sole accounts because the online form if initiated from the joint account seems to assume you're switching a joint account, which isn't the case (if going for the full £400 anyway).
I wondered about this, having just requested a joint -> joint switch. If you're switching sole -> joint will the donor bank ignore the other name, or will they reject the switch? I imagine this is covered by the rules of the Current Account Switching Service.0 -
You can only switch sole to sole, or joint to joint.0

You can only switch sole to sole, or joint to joint.
Yet the RAF FAQs say: "I have a joint account. If I recommend the other account holder and they switch their main account held with another provider into our joint account, will they still be paid?
Yes, you will both be paid £100 each into your joint account."
The reference to the other account holder's main account being switched into a joint account does sound like a sole -> joint switch.0
