hope you don't work in a lab with such a nonchalant attitude to mistakes.

It's not a nonchalant attitude....people & therefore the Companies they work for do make honest mistakes...it's a fact of life. Nobody has been hurt. Yes I do work in a Lab., but we all work together to catch any error before results are reported

People and Companies have responsibilities and mistakes have consequences, it's a matter of facing up to them, correcting where possible and sometimes making reparation.

The disclaimer in Dell's T&C's reads "Dell will not be responsible for typographical, pricing or other errors and reserves the right to cancel any orders based on such errors.”
So what confidence can the consumer have in Dell products, presumably their specifications can be erroneous in the expectation that Dell is not accountable. Well who the heck is responsible for their errors?
They have failed to provide an answer to this and are also unwilling to give assurances that personal details entered during the ordering process will be removed from their systems.
Dell have acted irresponsibly and have demonstrated disdain in the way they have responded to complaints. Good luck to those pursuing claims against them.

    What a constructive comment, thanks.

If you're happy for multinational corporations to walk all over people, especially due to a self-made !!!! up, then I am afraid that you're part of the problem and nothing to do with the cure.

With such articulation and obvious intellectual capacity you must surely qualify for employment with Dell

Yes he would, what he could have said in a couple of words he turned into a sentence of hot air, I think he was trying to impress with his grammar and vocabulary, but in reality it was what I said in the first place..........cobblers!

FACT ( 1 ) Nobody will get one of these drives.

FACT ( 2 ) Nobody will successfully get any joy from Dell, either by writing to them, or by taking them to court.

Move on, get over it.. ;)

I don't care that i'm not getting the drive. I do care that it's 11 days since the money was taken from my account. I'll get over it as soon as it goes back in.
