Bluetooth was fitted today. All works well. So just need the heat wave to return now 😊0

Bluetooth works a treat, the after market model is not as good as the factory fitted version in my last Astra, but a lot better than any Parrot. - but the service from garage has been poor - 2 more issues since last post:-
They picked the car up from me, to retrofit Bluetooth free of charge, which was an excellent offer on their side, apart from on Friday this week, I receive a letter from North Yorkshire police stating the car was speeding when driven by them.
Secondly, they also registered the car in the wrong name. Have to send log book back to Garage X, for them to send a letter to DVLA to get it changed.
At least the car is lovely and we have had some good weather to enjoy!!0 -
Did you make an issue of the car having more mileage on it after they returned it than when collected?
And now the niggling thought that maybe the guy that collected it thrashed it on the journey.Censorship Reigns Supreme in Troll City...0 -
I have a similar situation. Demo car advertised with 15 miles; has been advertised for 2 weeks or so according to the salesman. Have agreed inspection and test drive followed by purchase if OK. However paperwork has arrived and mileage is stated as 3.5K.
My issue is that there is another car, same model, same spec, same plate elsewhere with 3.3K mileage and slightly cheaper. I just decided I wanted the model with less mileage, only now it's not. It's more.
I can cancel; I haven't signed anything.
Should I haggle or walk away?A woman of many moods...... and chocolate solves them all0 -

You want to cancel a sale because of 200 miles? Oh.0 -
It's advertised as 15 miles but the paperwork says 3.5k as in three thousand five hundred. Diff is not 200 miles....A woman of many moods...... and chocolate solves them all0

I thought you said one at 3,300 miles is slightly cheaper so you're going to refuse to buy the one on 3,500 to get the one on 3,300? Or am I missing something?
15 miles, 3,300 or 3,500 miles...the car is practically brand new. When I bought my Fiesta, there were 3 identical cars, all priced the same but with mileage between 8,000 and 13,000. I obviously picked the 8,000 one. It honestly, doesn't make the slightest bit of difference when you are talking about such a small amount of miles.0 -
It's really not that big an issue, but the principle is that I've verbally agreed to purchase it with 15 miles on the clock. It's now stated as 3.5k miles. In a years time the mileage difference will not be noticeable. So my question is whether or not I just suck it up or haggle a teeny bit more over the mileage.....A woman of many moods...... and chocolate solves them all0
