the shuttle buses at the Santa Fe picks up and drops off right outside the reception buildings. The Cheyenne stop is not right in front, its out and slightly to the left when you come out of the reception building, but its clearly signposted.

I've stayed at the Santa Fe loads of times, but not yet at Christmas. I have stayed at the Cheyenne during Christmas season, the reception area was all decked out with a christmas tree etc decorated with little cowboy hats - cute!

    Thanks balletshoes!

Anyone else stayed in either during Christmas?

On a separate note, and apologies if I've asked this before - Buffalo Bills.

We'll have Dream annual passes ready for our trip this December. We're going again with the inlaws in March. For the March trip, we're going to do Buffalo Bills. Dream annual pass offers 20% off Buffalo Bills - I'm assuming that's if you buy via Disney direct (over the phone I'd guess). Looking at the current price on DLRP Magic, for second tier seating, with 20% off, I'm looking at £40.72 per adult, £31.84 per child.

Is that the cheapest way of doing it?

    Thanks

Apologies I didn't realised you mentioned bout the annual passport. We will have the fantasy passport so probably leave luggage at the station which I assume is closeby.
if you have a Dream annual passport, your luggage is free to deposit at the baggage store at DLP. If you have any other type of AP, you have to pay per bag/case, as I said before.

No, the baggage store is only at the entrance to the main park, there isn't one at the Studios park.

From the gates of the Studios park to the gates of the main park, its about a 2-minute walk.

You are very unlikely to see any princesses at any meet n greet or character meal apart from the Auberge de cendrillon. but the princess pavilion in fantasyland now operates a kind of timed pass system so that might be a manageable queue.
you could try the DLH meet n greet on the sunday afternoon ~ no guarantees but sometimes the main characters from the sunday brunch there stay for the afternoon meet n greet.

Is the timed pass at princess pavillion still in place? I read in a few forums that it is no longer in place? I've been trying to talk my daughter out of meeting a princess as the restaurant is so expensive and the meet and greets queues will be forever in peak August!

I believe the timed pass is back for the high season now, it has been trialled in French school holidays only until now, then stopped again. But it seems to have been back for a month or so, with no sign of stopping until the end of August at the earliest.

I'm very much hoping the Princess Pavillion appointments stay FOREVER!! lol It was the longest thing we queued for last September - was horrible, but VERY much worth it when our then 2 1/2 year old met with Sleeping Beauty (her favourite at the time - how lucky was that?!).

Balletshoes - you're the expert on the Disneyland Hotel breakfast (that you treat yourselves to, often after EMH, for brunch) - can you reserve a place? Or do you just turn up and say you want to pay?

ooh i'm hoping to do this too!

by the way, is each dreams and parade show different each day or the same? I'm wondering whether it's worth seeing them daily (time permitting?)

thank you balletshoe for always providing us with so much information...

ooh just to add, i've just received my temporary fantasy passports today - not bad considering i applied for them on 11th jul evening! they look like little business cards. i don't understand what's written on them but assume they will just need to be exchanged..

you can't reserve, you just go to the restaurant and tell the greeter there that you are not staying in the Disneyland Hotel and want to pay for breakfast :).

the parades are the same every day, and Dreams is the same every evening of your visit.
