Thank you so much for your wealth of knowledge Balletshoes! I might just leave the luggage at the station both ways then. 32 euros is a bit too much! Although may consider using Disney Express on the return leg for an extra 4 euros. How comes you're not charged per adult on a one way journey?

because you're not booking it through Eurostar ;). Its the hotel (a Disney affiliated one) which is providing the service, one way.

Balletshoes - Do you know how long it usually takes for CE to send out annual passes? I'm sure I chose their version of recorded delivery. I ordered them sometime in june. Thanks :)

if they have them in stock when you order, its usually no more than 10 days - 2 weeks. If its been longer than that, and the money has been debited from your card, I'd email them and ask whats happening.
  • We're a family of four: parents and two daughters 18 & 14. Finally making a big trip to see relatives and decided to stop in Paris on the way to the UK to visit DLP as a surprise for the girls. After a 26 hour flight in mid Sept (on a Wednesday) we arrive at CDG at 7am! Need a quick and reasonably trip to l'hôtel l'Elys!e Val d'Europe at Serris (because it was a cheaper option for two nights than Disney hotels). Have heard the fast train has different fares for rush hour and taxis are expensive in the commuter peak. A friend told us the rail network has been having many holdups with delays of an hour common. So thought the fast train might be a good option for the travel weary. We're saving the trip to DLP until day 2 and have managed to find tickets (one day 2 parks) for 52 euros each online at attractiontix based in the UK , cheaper than DLP price with 20% discount at 59.00 EUR. Have followed advice on the forum of checking the French site CEmuti advantages and think I see tickets for 39 euros but not sure with the translation and want to make sure I don't purchase tickets we can't use when we get there. Prices are now increasing rapidly for Australians as our dollar is dropping quickly against the euro so I would like to purchase ahead. Any advice would be welcome.
PS: Thanks for a wonderful forum everyone.:)

Balletshoes, it says on the DLP station that leaving luggage at the station maybe more expensive than at DLP. Do you know how much it would cost if we took it to DLP instead?

no, if you buy Disney Express both ways, you are charged per adult, no matter how many cases you have. So thats 32 euros total for your party.

The bus/local train to L'Elysee hotel from DLP is right beside where you would leave your cases at the train station luggage lockers, so you wouldn't need to go to your hotel with your luggage first on your first day, you could just use the train station lockers. You'll get your 2 cases in one of the 7 euro lockers there, then you can, if you want to, pay at the hotel 11 euros for Disney Express on your check-out day.

    Good to know

Having now booked hotel, transport and tickets, I'm now thinking about meals!

Is it worth buying half meal plans for a couple of days (I'm thinking maybe it's worth going back to Val DEurope for dinner)?

Also, could 3 of us book to Auberge de Cendrillon but only buy one meal - the idea of paying for 3 meals there is making me ill!

What other cheap ways is there to meet the characters at mealtimes? I was thinking of booking breakfast at Cafe Mickey oneday and DLH another although I know the characters dont meet you. My husband reckons not to bother as we'll have lots of time to meet the characters their over the 4 days we are there in August but the crowds and queue times scare me!!

I'm not sure what you're asking choti?

Theres no way, with 2 cases, that leaving the cases at the train station lockers will be more expensive than leaving 2 cases at DLP luggage store - because it will cost you 14 euros to leave your cases at DLP.

I use the train station lockers on every trip to DLP, you will pay either 7 euros (if you can fit your cases into one medium size locker, and I think you'll be able to) or maximum 10 euros for a huge locker.

take a shared shuttle, booked in advance, from CDG to your val d'europe hotel with rstransports.com
Its the easiest, most convenient, and can be the cheapest, method of transfer from the airport to your DLP hotel. The road journey by shared/private shuttle takes around 40 minutes.
