Well perhaps my 6 feet plus husband could help DD by having her on his shoulders during dreams! However I'm tiny so I'll have to find a bench!
For the shows and cars n stars in the studios you really only need to be there 10~15 minutes before show/parade time.

the main park parade and dreams are a completely different kettle of fish.
the quietest part of magic on parade route is where it begins up in fantasyland near the queue area of Its a Small world ride and the pizzeria bella notte.dont try and see it from near the castle, thats one of the busiest spots and you,ll have wait a good hour at your spot to keep it.
up at the start of the parade route you should get a spot 20 minutes before it starts.

dreams may be an issue with a 5~year old. there are no elevated positions to see it and if everyone stands for the duration of dreams your little one may not see much. your best bet is to bag one of the benches dotted around the front of the castle and stay there for an hour or more ~ no kidding! at leadt then when dreams starts she can stand on the seat if the bench to see and you can stand behind her to hold her.

I've just spotted that with an annual pass, we could leave up to 3 bags per passport with guest services in DLP for free! Do you know anything more about this? Also is there guest services in WD studios? I'm thinking it might be good to go there on our first day as we arrive in the afternoon with the direct Eurostar from London.
no, if you buy Disney Express both ways, you are charged per adult, no matter how many cases you have. So thats 32 euros total for your party.

The bus/local train to L'Elysee hotel from DLP is right beside where you would leave your cases at the train station luggage lockers, so you wouldn't need to go to your hotel with your luggage first on your first day, you could just use the train station lockers. You'll get your 2 cases in one of the 7 euro lockers there, then you can, if you want to, pay at the hotel 11 euros for Disney Express on your check-out day.

if you have a Dream annual passport, your luggage is free to deposit at the baggage store at DLP. If you have any other type of AP, you have to pay per bag/case, as I said before.

No, the baggage store is only at the entrance to the main park, there isn't one at the Studios park.

From the gates of the Studios park to the gates of the main park, its about a 2-minute walk.
  • Thank you for your advice Ballet Shoes. That's the transport part sorted. Now to the tickets. This is what the site has listed:

    Disney Special offer!
Ticket used for twovisits and thetwo Disney Parks:
    - Use a ticket the first day
Between 13 May and 13 July 2013 inclusive
    Then with the same ticket,
    - Return asecond day
Between August 15 and September 30, 2013 included

    Single ticket prices: Adult/ Child: 39 €
Free admission for children under 3years.

Would we still be able to use this even though the first date of entry has expired (and we wouldn't have been able to use it anyway)?

sorry I have no idea - I'd email the company if I were you and ask them.
  • Thanks again Balletshoes :)I did email them last week but no reply. Was hoping forum readers might have purchased the same tickets and had some advice/information. I will try again with the company.

has anyone stayed at Davy Crocket ranch during December /January and how warm are they??

Very warm, been a few times during winter and always snug. Electric heaters in every room which can be left on throughout the day.

no, you just have to keep an eye on the sites/forums for DLP. Generally speaking, if a long-term offer is near to ending, usually within a fortnight after the end of the long-term offer, there will some kind of a sale.
