  • In France now - with limited Internet access. Looking for cheapest deal for tickets only to DLP. Found a few sites but seems they post tickets - no good as looking to go tomorrow or Friday. Any suggestions?

have you had a look at fnac? -

there are one-day tickets on there for 35 or 39 euros, and I believe with fnac you can collect them at a store in val d'europe (never tried it though, hopefully that information is correct).

eta - just had a look and this week's tickets don't appear to be available to book on fnac, I guess it doesn't give them long enough for them to process the tickets.

or theres ticketnet.fr - they sell print-at-home etickets so you might find something there -

you can't reserve, you just go to the restaurant and tell the greeter there that you are not staying in the Disneyland Hotel and want to pay for breakfast :).

Thank you my lovely. Knew you'd know. :D You've completely convinced us to give it a try this December (after previous discussions!).

I need some room/hotel advice please: am taking my 2 daughters (6 + 5) for their xmas treat to stay at Disney
Which room/hotel would be best as I know they will get tired easily and will be over-excited and won't want to be queueing for ages etc, therefore I would like to be in a hotel that has quite a few character visitors at anytime, unfortunately I cannot afford DLH as much as we would all love that!
So would a regular room at the New York or Admirals Floor at Newport or Golden Forest at Sequoia would be best please??
Thanks in advance for any advice offered x

I would say regular room at the HNY - its the smallest of the onsite hotels, the closest after the DLH to the park gates, and you still get the characters etc there (the HNY restaurants are very good too).

yes, every morning in the foyer, between 8am and around 11am. Don't forget, you can visit any onsite hotel you like (including the Disneyland Hotel) to meet the characters there too. You don't have to be staying in a particular hotel to use any of the public facilities in that hotel (ie bars, cafe, restaurants, gift shop, character meets etc).

different characters, often in different themed outfits, visit all the onsite hotels between 8am and 11am every morning.

no, don't take a half board dining plan at DLP - they don't save you any money and they restrict where and what you can eat with them.

    Thanks balletshoes!

Anyone else stayed in either during Christmas?

    Clare x

We stayed in the Cheyenne last year, around mid December, and we are going again this year :) Cheyenne is pretty basic but has everything you need, and our 3year old loves the cowboy theme.
We only used the shuttle bus once, as it was much more simple to walk to the park. Takes about 10 minutes.

It is cold in December so layer up! :xmassmile
