Thanks for your help again Balletshoes. I'm aiming for 4 days with the fantasy annual passes (I guess I need that much time with the crowds expected at the end of July). Apartments out of the question..so hotels only. Wife liked the pictures of the Marriott but I think the costs are comparable to the onsite ones
are you driving? its just that the Marriott doesn't have a regular shuttle bus to and from DLP, and its not free.
I'd look at the 4 associated hotels ie the Kyriad, Explorers, Magic Circus and Dream Castle. They are situated at the end of the road where the onsite hotels begin, and they have free very frequent (every 20 minutes) shuttle buses to and from the parks, all day every day.0 -
thanks again balletshores. Explorers looks nice on the travel republic pages and at 135pounds/night seems much better than the marriott. Should I purchase these straight away or do deals come up closer to July? Just waiting for my annual passes to come through, then hotels, then eurostar, some euros..and hopefully all set for a nice time in July. Thank you for patiently answering queries throughout this thread.'You see the coefficient of the linear is juxtapositioned by the haemoglobin of the atmospheric pressure in the country..c'mon gajive join the party' :dance:0

Better deals are unlikely to come up for July, but you might get some cashback on your hotel booking through other sites, like Expedia, ebookers, hotels.com etc etc for the Explorers or the other associated hotels.0 -

Hey
We are considering booking Disneyland Paris for New Year this year. We got a quote from a local coach company, the price at £777 for 3 adults. The price was for a 4 day break from 29th December with 2 day hopper passes. I think the majority of 1st and last day is travelling, which we don't mind. Has anybody been New Year before, or booked to go this year? Would love to know what people think the best way to book is, whether to stay at a hotel onsite or one a little further out, fly or eurotunnel/coach etc. Just looking for some advice, thanks very muchif possible we would like to visit Paris for the day too. I have been to Paris and Disneyland before, 1st time in January with my fiance, but this time want to go back with my mother and younger brother
I didn't book the last one so not sure how to go about it or if the way he booked was best for us so looking how other people do their breaks. Thanks
any information or tips would be useful.

if thats £777 total, including hotel, all travel and 2-day park tickets (ie £250ish each) then I'd snap their hands off!
Over New Year theres no way you'll get a nearby hotel plus park tickets plus travel any other way for 3 adults for that amount of money.
Did you go on New Year before to DLP?0 -
I thought that the price seemed really good considering everything that is included. I'm not sure if it's one of the onsite hotels, but if not I think shuttle transfers are available to Disneyland itself. No, haven't been New Year before, we went this year at the beginning of January, not long after New Year0

Over New Year you might not get on many rides at all, especially New Years Eve - its one of DLPs busiest days of the whole year. But if you want to spend the time with your family away from home, all together, and you're happy in a crowd, I'm sure you'll have a great time there.0 -
With your help, have booked annual passes from ce multi avantages. They arrived very quickly.
The only thing is, we booked the fantasy pass because the DLPR Magic website listed Magic Hours as a feature of the Fantasy pass.
Otherwise I would have gone with the less expensive Francilian pass.
However, am I right in thinking that there's a 20th Anniversary version and a 'normal' version...?
Looking at the ones that have arrived today, I must have the normal version, does that mean we wouldn't get Magic Hours?
We're staying at Dream Castle Hotel, so I don't think they offer it either? Would anyone know?
Many thanks in advance0 -

anyone with a Fantasy pass (of any description, 20th anniversary or not) gets EMH this year. I didn't have a 20th anniversary pass (I bought mine before the start of the 20th anniversary in April 2012) and I got EMH absolutely fine, staying at the Dream Castle, once the 20th anniversary year started. I suspect when you get yours changed at DLP to your permanent annual pass, it will be the 20th anniversary version anyway, because thats what DLP has this year.
Honestly, it will be fine.
