Really? I'm delighted with that, just thought it was my own fault for assuming something and that I'd have better luck next time.
Balletshoes I don't know how you find the time, but I really appreciate the quick reply and all the knowledge on the board.
Thanks again, so looking forward to our trip0 -
Hi everyone, I've been reading through the forum to get some hints on going to DLP for a few days.
Maybe you could help me out a little more.
Money is, well very tight at the moment. Its my girlfriends birthday in June and I know its late but wanted to take her DLP as she is Disney mad. I don't mind how I get there, although Driving would freak me out so coach or train would be better.
and well Ive got about £400 maybe a little more if I had to.
I only want to go for 2 nights and maybe 1/2 days in the Park.
I'm in Essex, so close to Dover and the euro star even though I find it expensive.
Ive found a few coach trips that do that but not going until august. So any help you could give me would be amazing.
Thanks in Advance all.

megabus goes from London to Port Maillot (near Paris) then you can take the metro/RER to DLP from there in less than one hour.
for park tickets, you can get 2-day park tickets for 59 euros each from cemultiavantages.
2 nights hotel near DLP can be anything from around £40 per room per night upwards (try trivago/travelrepublic/alpharooms etc).
if your budget of £400 is total, and is to cover food as well, I think you might struggle to be honest (but theres a McDonalds and a convenience store at DLP, so it could be done).
But see if these options would suit you, see how much it will cost, then see whats left for food etc.

We are looking to go for one of the Halloween events in the park, we did this a couple of years ago and it was great, there are some really good hotel offers but as DS has now turned 8 we are being charged for him, do you think it is worth booking now whilst the free half board offer is on or waiting until a bit later and see if there are any combination offers ??0

Hi
We are happy to be in a crowd and as long as we get on some rides during our time there we don't mind. We prefer the smaller and calmer rides than the big ones also and don't mind queuing or getting fast passI have just found out that the price we were quoted, it's not a Disney hotel but a selected one with the company in Paris/outskirts of Paris area, that is released 3 weeks before departure. We were hoping it would be Disney so we could make use of the Disney Village on our first evening there. Now reconsidering, although I think booking a Disney Hotel may be completely out of our price range. Has anybody ever booked a DIY break to Disney before, staying at a hotel in Disneyland area and booking your own transport and tickets? Something I am also considering as we could maybe squeeze an extra day in.

yes- its fairly rare these days that I stay onsite, unless its at a time of year when Disney are doing very cheap deals.

how much is your onsite trip if you book just one adult in on the package?
The reason I'm asking is, with your child being 8, you could add the other adult and the child to an onsite hotel when you arrive, and get them annual passes from cemultiavantages for their park tickets (these are 155 euros for the most expensive Dream annual pass and your child gets one for 35 euros).0
