    Hi,

I need some help. My boyfriend wants to take me to Disneyland Paris for my birthday in August but after looking at some prices, I think we are better off waiting until September when prices come down.

We are looking to spend £300 each on travel, accommodation and tickets and maybe two or three nights in a Disney Hotel (so we get early access to the park).

I have been looking at coach trips but I am not sure if they are the best way forward. Eurostar is working out too expensive, plus we have to add the cost of travel to London.

Any ideas? Looking to go end of September, two adults?

would Eurostar suit you best? If so, they will release the indirect (via Lille but its an easy transfer) fares around 12 weeks before travel, and adult fares are typically £69 return each London to DLP. 10-12 weeks before travel is also typically when you'll get the cheapest train fare from your home town to London. Or can you get a coach down to London and then take the indirect Eurostar?

you will get EMH if you have fantasy annual passes - these are currently 125 euros each through cemultiavantages, give you access to the parks, including EMH, no matter where you are staying. There are lots of blackout dates on the Fantasy pass in September though, which you'd need to avoid -
    "September 3rd, 10th, 17th, 21st, 22nd, 28th, 29th".

So with Eurostar at £69 each, and fantasy passes (including fees and postage) at around £120, that leaves £110 each for a hotel room near DLP - easily doable at that time of year.

Have a look for hotels on travelrepublic/expedia/hotels.com/trivago etc etc, see what you like the look of :).
  • Hi all,

I'm completely new to this type of holiday booking, our usual holidays are DIY camping trips either in uk or normandy.
We're looking to take the children to DLP for their birthdays in Half term October 2014. It'll be for 2 adults and 3 children (they will be 7yrs (turning 8 12th nov), 6yrs and 11mths old at the time). We'd like to stay in one of the lower priced disney hotels for 3 nights and we'll probably book the transport ourselves seperately.
When is the earliest we can book?
and what is the best and cheapest way to book when we do?
    many thanks x

for the best deals for October next year, you have ages to wait until you can book - probably next Spring.

It will depend on what week your half term week is next year, but it could be a very busy time at DLP as typically all French schools and most of the rest of Europe are off on holiday for Halloween week.

Definitely book your own transport separately.

you can phone Disney dining reservations on 0033 160 304050 (use a discount dial number first from your landline) and book tables at no extra charge, from 60 days before your trip.

I had a look at the Eurostar site and it was working out around £308 return for us both which seems rather pricey - are you saying they will release cheaper tickets soon? We would be looking at going w/c 23rd September 2013. What is a Fantasy Pass, it is like a Yearly Pass?

We are just trying to figure out the best / cheapest way to go, coach trips are working out cheaper but that is a lot of travel time.

yes, 12 weeks before travel Eurostar release the indirect fares to DLP, so if you book as soon as you see those fares you should still be able to get the cheapest fare of £69 return (so that would be around 23rd June).

yes, fantasy passes are annual passes for DLP.
