this is the board to look for -

as I said, I don't think there are any offers out for December yet, but if you ask on that board, they'll keep a look out for you.
  • We have just realised that when we go to DLP in March it is our friends birthday. If we had remembered when we booked we would have ordered a birthday cake for him. Can we do it when we arrive, don't want to amend booking now as he will see it. Also how would we do this when there and where would it be delivered to.
    Thanks
    Nicky

yes you can order it (you need to give at least 24 hours notice) at City Hall in the main park. They will give you a receipt/voucher for the cake, and you should also book a table then to have dinner at and the Cake.

You can have the cake in most of the resort restaurants, but I'd suggest, if you want characters to deliver the cake to your friend at your table, either Cafe Mickey or Inventions. If you don't want characters, then just any of the nice table service restaurants in the resort :).

Thanks again balletshoes, that's great. He will be embarrassed enough to get a cake anywhere but hey ho, our kids would love the character side of it ;) Thanks again. xx
  • Booked!
Missed the offer for Santa Fe thru Expedia this morning. All sold out so went for Cheyenne instead. Not been there before and i'm quite wary (have stayed in Santa Fe before) but reviews seem to be ok and similar distance so hopefully will be ok.

    Question (sorry Balletshoes):
Expedia says there's city tax to be put on top when we get to the hotel.... does anyone know what this tax will be?

for the onsite hotels you won't be asked for the city tax :) - thats a cover-all description Expedia puts on all its French hotels (as you may pay local tax at offsite ones).

Don't worry about the Cheyenne - its a different theme and the rooms have one double bed and one set of bunks in them, but the facilities, distance from the parks etc are the same as the Santa Fe.

do you already have your hotel booked? where are you staying, and what are you intending doing if you don't do 4 days in the parks?

yes, its expensive to eat at DLP - have a look on DLRPMagic for restaurant menus/prices etc.

you can either get the VEA coach, the TGV train, or a shared or private shuttle from Paris CDG airport to Disneyland Paris, if you're flying into a different airport your options may be more limited.
  • what will be the cheapest ticket for 5 days at half term ?
we already have dream passes but dd is bringing a friend!!
do we get 20% off a dream pass if we buy it for her??
