yes, I see what you mean, that seems to be the only choice you can make online, Tickets on Departure. Maybe you would get more ticket delivery options by calling Eurostar to book by phone?

We are going the first week of October, will it be warm enough with just a sheet and blanket? Not sure I want to pack all the duvets not much room in car!!

  • Hi Balletshoes as your the font of all knowledge on disneyland Paris was thinking of buying annual passes from promo parks with the childs free one. My son is 7!! do you know if he would be able to get the free one or does he have to be under 7. Have had annual passes before when they were doing this offer at the park years ago.

unfortunately no, the free kids pass is only for children who are aged 6 or under when you go to DLP to get your permanent AP done after buying the temporary ticket from promoparcs.

Hi again, trying to book my train tickets tonight but it's not giving me the option to print at home?
    What gives?

I have been twice , when we went direct we could print at home, when we went via Lille, we had to pick up, because you can't print the tgv ticket at home.
  • Hi All,

We are looking to go DLP over Christmas (specifically boxing day) staying in the newport bay for 3 nights and going via Eurostar. There are 3 adults (one of which is a senior), and 2 children (ages 1 & 3), the Disney site is quoting me £1687! Amazingly that apparently includes 40% off and both kids going free! Really...

Any ideas on how I can get this cheaper ? Are there any discounts / promotions / different websites / different ways of booking etc. worth trying ?

    Thank you in advance :)

easy bit first :)- take the Eurostar travel option off the DLP booking altogether and get a price on hotel/park tickets/breakfast only.

Then book your Eurostar fares yourself on the Eurostar website.

Wow that brings it down to £1425 already a saving of £263 :T

    Thanks!

But why stop there - any other suggestions?? ;)

oh plenty :D! If you want to stay at the Newport Bay Club, try checking the price for one adult (and both kids as they are free) for your 3 nights/4 days. How much is that?

eta - I don't think its a difference of more than £300 compared to a 3-adult package, so forget that (I had a cunning plan, but it won't save you any money on one trip - although it definitely would if you are considering returning to DLP within one year of your Christmas trip).

You could book on the French version of the DLP site - that is showing the full 40% off for your dates on both the Sequoia Lodge and the Newport Bay Club - Sequoia Lodge is 1089 euros total for you all (around £900), Newport Bay is 1158 euros (around £957). Sequoia Lodge is a much nicer hotel for winter trips, surrounded by woodland, roaring log fires in reception etc etc. And its just be extensively refurbished, the Newport Bay Club is in need of one in places but its not been started yet.
