  • nope, I'm afraid neither of these options would work. Each person who is getting an annual pass has to be present at DLP with their own photo ID, because your permanent annual pass is photo ID too (they take your photo there with a webcam and then that is used for your laminated annual pass). You cannot provide a photo for them, you have to have it taken there at DLP when you are getting your annual pass. This applies for children also, its the same procedure.

Ah well, it was worth a shot. I'll just hope that fnac do an offer like this around December then. Thanks for the info balletshoes and legg11 :)
  • Another question, what's the weather like there in November? I've just realised I can't go in Oct because of my dad's birthday party that same weekend I was planning on going. So will have to try for a trip in Nov.

generally by November, whatever the temp is in your part of the UK, DLP area will be a couple of degrees colder. It could be rainy, it could be dry. You can get 10-day forecasts on this site -

    http://uk.weather.com/weather/10day-FRXX0279?cm_ven=yahoo_uk&cm_cat=citypage&cm_ite=weather&cm_pla=10day

which should help the closer you get to your date of travel.

I have been looking at going to DLP and as DD will be 3 in November it looks like the only way we can stay in the disney hotels is to get two rooms as there is me, DH and the 3 kids who will be 8, 6 and 3 when we are looking at going.

Is there no way we can just have 1 room in any of the disney hotels?

I don't really want to get two rooms because of the extra expense, so what would be the cheapest way for us to do Disney. We are looking at going for 3 days really.

    Thanks

There are family rooms for 5 in the Santa FE, Newport Bay Club, and Disneyland Hotels. However, they are very restricted numbers and usually cost more to book them than to book 2 rooms!

If you're driving over, the Davy Crockett ranch is classed as a Disney property, it takes 5 easily.

Your other option is to stay offsite at either the Explorers or Magic Circus hotels, and buy annual passes. Keep a look out on cemultiavantages and promoparcs from the beginning of October, hopefully they will bring back their free annual pass for a child aged under 7 when you buy an adult annual pass of the same type. You would purchase 3 of the Fantasy or Dream passes, get your 2 youngest children's free, and this would cost around £315 for your park entry tickets for all of you. Check when you are inteding going to DLP on DLRPMagic for Fantasy Pass blackout dates, to make sure the cheaper annual pass will work for you.

Book the Explorers or Magic Circus (they both have room types suitable for families of 5) through Expedia, Travelrepublic, alpharooms, hotels.com, trivago etc, and also have a look on the hotels own websites for special offers.

Playing with the dates it seems the March holiday looks better price, staying at Hotel Cheyenne for 3 nights 4 days in the parks for £452.20 for the three of us.

    Is the hotel any good?

we stayed in march this year for 3 nights. the first night we got there, it was hot and everyone was walking with tshirts. after that it was wet and cold!!! i can't remember when in march but i think it was the 2nd week in march.
  • I think we paid 7EUR for 1 if that helps. There's a deal for more than 1.

    Thanks

    hi
If you click on the purple last tab that says 'Spectacles et voyages'
it will take you to a new page and you should then see on the page 'disney vente flash', click on it and it'll take you to the 4 ticket options it has for sale.

    HTH

ps there is a tab to view in english that i have just noticed!
