Hi, I have Sky free tickets for Saturday and I am buying tickets from Expedia for the Sunday. Will I be able to change the vouchers for both days at the same time? Can I do this on Friday evening or saturday morning? Or will I have to do Sky tickets saturday morning and expedia ticket sunday morning and queue up twice??

your SKY ticket is for a specific date, in your case the Saturday, so you will have to exchange that ticket on Saturday morning, you can't do it any earlier.

Is your Expedia ticket for a specific date? If not, you may be able to exchange that one early for the Sunday - ask at the ticket booth when you are exchanging your SKY ticket.

Hi, I was just about to buy tickets from Expedia but double checked french sites and fnac have a flash sale at the moment and tickets were reduced to 35 euro. The flash sale is from today until 21st Sept and tickets are valid from 10th Sept to 6th Jan 2013. 30 euro weekdays and 35 weekend. There are lots of other tickets in the sale, annual passes and buffalo bill show if of interest to anyone else.
  • Ok lots of talk on here about which hotel or park to stop at.

Not been before and will be driving down next May, want to stop at Disney to keep things simple. what would be the best place to stop with good (safe) parking for my car.

Is there a better time to go, must be during Leicestershire school holiday dates.

Do not want the dearest but not the cheapest if for a little more there is better.

There will be myself, misses and 10 year old son.

    Thank you.

  • Just back from a brilliant 4 days with sunshine every day (I'd almost forgotten what that was like!). Quite busy but managed to avoid the worst of the queues and ride on everything we wanted to (usually more than once and often up to 12 times!). Was disappointed that the Studio Tour was shut (unannounced and unexplained) but otherwise everything was fantastic. If you want to know anything recent, I'll try to answer - just ask.

When we went in June the studio tour was cancelled for 2 days due to high winds so was the toy soldigers parachute ride
  • It wasn't at all windy and the parachute ride was open so I don't think it was that. I wouldn't have minded if they'd said why or for how long it was going to be shut but it just said "shut today" but it was shut on both Wednesday and Friday. I'd seen it before so I wasn't bothered for myself but wanted my friends to enjoy it.
  • thats a bit naughty !!
  • I went yesterday with the free Sky tickets. I didn't realise but the ticket gives you access to both parks on one day, so we did all the big fast rides at DLP (except Thunder mountain as it had broken down) and then popped next door to the studios and did a couple of big rides there. We were only there for the day and the queues were so short. Sometimes it took longer to walk to where the queue started than waiting to get on the ride when we got there.
hadn't been before, now I want to go back to have a really good look around.

We were actually on Thunder Mountain when it broke down and had to walk through the "mine shafts" to get out - so exciting! A real talking point of our holiday! And got a free fast pass (and we had almost finished the ride so were happy with this!). I think Thunder Mountain is my favourite ride - so absolutely fun and exciting! There are more exilerating rides but BTM is pure entertainment!

You weren't on the car on the hill nearest the haunted house were you? Damn, wish I could have experienced that. I'm quite jealous!
