  • Think it may have been mentioned before but if you buy something in the morning in one of the parks you get two receipts one will be a voucher for a free drink in the afternoon or in one case we got 10% off merchandise. It has to be used that day. If buying more than one meal do it separately so you get a voucher each. Also watch out in the restaurants as many people dont look at their
receipts and leave them on the table and throw them away. I collected some and gave them to other people as I do hate the waste of a free voucher!!

    HI all,

Just posting this again in case anyone has any advice or experience before we go! We're in DLP Monday & Tuesday next week (eek!).

My husband is looking to getting our daughter into pin badge trading (shes only 2 1/2 bless her - he did it in America years ago!).

Firstly, has anyone bought any of the pin trading bags in DLP recently? If so, how much were they and how big?

Secondly, any tips for pin trading in DLP? I'm guessing it's more of an American thing - but I've been completely oblivious to pin trading on previous visits so I know nothing!! Lol

    Thanks all - we're there 10th and 11th September!

    Clare x
My son used to collect these and had a huge bag full which confused customs until they saw what it was. They do still have pin trading bags and lots of pins in all the shops and the pin trading lanyards but it seems not such a large thing as it was 6years ago or so. I didnt look at prices although did get one 20th anniversary one for 8 euros 99. that was just last week. Hope that is of some help. Enjoy yourself.

I'm going to attempt to go in October. Short notice. Need some serious planning.

What I find hard is pricing up the hotels, to be honest pricing up the best deal combination seems needlessly much more difficult than it should be. Far harder than other, less blinkered holiday choices!

I'm looking at an annual pass x2, seperate hotel. I'm sure I've seen somewhere that you get kids under 7 play free still with them? Not sure if anyone can confirm that? (or remind me where I've seen it!)

Probably going to fly, simply because it means less travel time with the little monsters, which in theory means less stress. Prices if you can be flexible on days and times seem good.

unfortunately both promoparcs and cemultiavantages have withdrawn their annual passes for sale until October. Hopefully when they are sold again, they will include the under-7s pass free when you buy an adult pass.

Really what airline and airports was that? Very good flight pricesz!

easyjet do 2 or 3 flights per day direct to CDG from Luton, we usually get the early (ie 7am or before) flight out, then the 6pm ish flight back to Luton. We tried the 9pm (last flight of the day) back once, but it was delayed by over an hour which meant we didn't get home to our beds until well after 1am, which really was too late for me. I rarely pay more than about £50 return each for that route.

you do have transfers to sort out and pay for on top of these prices of course, from CDG to your DLP hotel. So if you can do the travelling and possibly overnight stay before your Eurostar journey cheaply enough, you probably would be just as cheap (or cheaper) doing the Eurostar at their cheapest fares. If you're driving to the Eurostar, you might want to consider Ebbsfleet or Ashford instead of London to board the train, as parking your car will be considerably cheaper there, and less hassle (not going into London).
  • what site is best to use for booking for DLP?
i've tried eurodisney.co.uk for 29th oct for 3 nights but the price is around £800 - does not look any cheaper to me :(

Have you tried the Irish web site? http://www.disneylandparis.ie/index.xhtml. I found this £100 cheaper than using the English offering!

if you're tied to that week, its going to be expensive - and busy. All French schools, as well as a lot of other European countries, are off on holiday that week. Its a peak week for DLP.
  • thanks all. i'll have a think then.
is friday a cheaper way of flying? or should i avoid fridays and weekends? meaning i should look into going on a thursday?
Might look at going the week before half term then.

the eurostar from st pancras, does it go straight to eurodisney or somewhere else? i am looking at staying in Santa Fe.

I believe a Tuesday flight is normally the cheapest but you need to see what the out and inward flight prices work out at for your choosen route.

Think the Eurostar direct to DLRP is limited, used to be one a day, a quick look at the Eurostar web site should tell you that.

  • Am thinking of visiting on the weekend of 17-18 November. How busy should I expect the parks to be? Also are they still open late then for the 20th Annversary show?

    TIA
