Hello,
Sorry if this has been answered before, I did a search but couldn't find it. I've booked a night at Santa Fe for 2 people to use the free Sky ticket offer the day after. We booked this hotel because we thought we would get Magic Hours, but Expedia have now said that we won't be eligible? Can someone confirm whether or not we will get the EMH because we're staying at a Disney Hotel please?
Many thanks,
Therese
I don't see why you wouldn't. We did pretty much the same thing in March - booked the Santa Fe through Expedia to use the cheap tickets from The Sun - and had no issues getting EMH. They just give you a little card / pass thing when you check in which you show at the park gates to prove you're staying at the hotel.
My only worry was about having to change our Sun voucher for tickets on the day as I wasn't sure about the ticket booths being open that early, but there was at least one open at 8am so it was all fine.
If you want to make the most of EMH, get an early breakfast slot at Santa Fe - after about 7:30 we found it a bit of a scrum, earlier on it was much quicker to get our food and get out of there to head to the parks!0 -
Hello just wondering if anyone can advise me
I am thinking of taking my family to DLP over xmas this year, (we have not been before), the price appears quite reasonable at £1,400 for 2 adults 3 kids ffor 4 nights from 24th dec? We went to florida in 2010 and are getting a bit desperate to re-do disney, but just cannot afford WDW anytime soon! and am hoping that these parks will be just as good and have enough to keep my eldest daughter 13yrs entertained as well as a 10 and 6 yr olds??
Also im a little concerned about the weather then....has anyone been this time of year, will it be far to cold/wet to fully enjoy, or will it just feel all the more xmassy? Thanks in advance0 -
My wife and I bagged a couple of tickets through tesco clubcard, however our daughter (aged 5) is still in need of one.... rather than leaving her at home (!!!!!) do we buy online , or is it better to get her ticket in france? Only a week away, and she doesn't know she's going yet !
OOOOH the excitement ! :j:T:j0 -

Hi, my family are disney addicts aswell(hence all my debt!) we've been florida 3 times (as a couple/with a 2 yr old/with a 2 and 5 year old). we've also been to paris twice (as a couple/wit a 1 and 3 year old). We loved it all!
You must remember florida is disney WORLD, with magic kingdom, studios, epcot, Anim King, where as paris is disneyland and studios. The French aren't as fun as the yanks but we all loved it. I went on new years eve and it was busy and cold but ultimately fantastic. I wouldnt book yet though? im sure I read there are deals a bit later in the year, in fact thats why I logged on today to have a look for myself for this year.Gambling Free Days (from last bet 29/5 Chelsea:mad:) 20 -

For us, DLP was enjoyable but absolutely no comparison to WDW in Florida. We've been twice to DLP and 4 times to WDW, i wouldn't go to DLP again.
Both times we've been, the weather was fine but extremely cold (and one of these times was at Easter, once in November !) If you don't mind being frozen then you'll probably enjoy it but it made me miserable. To compensate, the hotels (both disney hotels) were ridiculously hot, which was really uncomfortable.
Plus if you get wet weather, it's really no fun ! I think the Xmas atmosphere at DLP will be fantastic though, personally i think 4 nights would be too long for us, but i suppose at least you get a better chance of decent weather over 4 days.
If you can't afford WDW then DLP will probably give you the Disney fix you need, but nothing beats what we call "the real thing" ! DLP always seems to us to be the poor relation ! BUT, lots of people enjoy DLP, these are just my thoughts
If it was me, i would put your £1400 towards another WDW trip ! We're off again next year0 -
