Thanks Balletshoes. I would prefer the bunkbeds of Cheyenne for the boys, although DH still going on about the pool! Is SL a lot closer? We were in the Running Bear block at Cheyenne (so the closest block to walk to the Park) and I can't see that the lodges in SL would be any closer.
Sorry for the questions but we want to book today as i understand that the 'Kids under 12 go free' promo finishes soon. DS1 will be 7 when we go. Would there be a better offer than the 2 nights free do you think?

If you're intending going for 4 nights anyway, then no, there won't be a better offer comes along for you (its effectively 50% off and both your kids free).

And you're right, the Sequoia Lodge is no more than a couple of minutes walk closer to the parks than the Cheyenne, if that.

hi everyone, we are wanting to take our two children to DLP feb half term (im a TA so have to go in school holidays)
have got a price form the disney website for 4 nights 5 days staying in the cheyenne for £418 which i think sounds a great price?
but when i get to the bit where it says ''add transportation'' its only letting me choose flights- cant click on train
flights are coming up as just over £500. is there a cheaper way of getting there?
we have never been abroad before, children dont even have passports yet! so really are quite clueless but obviousley want to do this as cheaply as possibly!
would really appreciate any help. would like to book soon!
Started comping October 2011, no wins as of yet. Would really love to win a short uk break so we can take the children away :D Thank you to everyone who takes the times to post competitions and good luck:j

its usually more expensive to book your travel through Disney anyway. Where do you live, do you have a budget airline near you which flies into Paris CDG? Can you go by Eurotunnel or Eurostar?

hi we live near cambridge, stansted airport is not too far, next closest would be london gatwick i think.
im happy to travel by eurostar. we will not be driving over ourselves.

you can phone eurostar now and register your dates of travel with them. When those dates become available to book by phone, they will call you to let you know, and you can book at the cheapest price (typically £69 return per adult, £49 return per child, children aged under 4 go free).

Don't wait until the fares become available for Eurostar online, as you won't get the cheapest fares by that time.

I can't see any direct flights from Stansted to Paris CDG, but Easyjet fly from Luton, if thats an option for you?
