The Novotel she stayed at is awful we stayed there on our first trip to Disney and I cried at how dirty and run down the hotel and in particular our room was ! It was also a long way to disney half an hour by coach.
I actually found the Novotel fairly pleasant. It wasn't high end to say the least but the rooms were clean, breakfast was good and not busy and my only complaint was the creepy painting on the wall in the bedroom! The lobby of the hotel was modernised with an Xbox Kinect but considering we were literally there for a place to sleep and breakfast I couldn't fault it.0 -
Can anyone advise me on which would be the best hotel to book at DLP? My Mum has offered to take the family there for her 70 birthday treat - May half term 2013, and has asked me to book it. She has seen lots of deals advertised recently and I don't want to miss out. There will be 6 adults and 5 children. The youngest will only be 1 1/2 and my Dad is 70 and won't be able to do loads of walking. I assume it would be best to be on site. Can anyone recommend the best hotel for our needs? Thank you in advance.0

I think you may be a little early for may 2013 (but i don't mind being corrected). If the budget can stretch the disneyland hotel is the best/closest option, especially with little ones who may need a nap. We have stayed at sequoia lodge, which is about 15 mins walk and has a pool. I think with little ones onsite definitely has its advantages0

Has anyone ever stayed in: Sejours & Affaires Rive Gauch before?
Its sort of holiday apartments. I've booked us in there but now a little worried that maybe we should of chosen something like the Holiday Express?
Also we're just going as four adults (myself and OH and his parents)... I've always dreamt of going to Disneyland.. anyone have any advice on places to see & go for the big kids?
Thanks0 -
I think you'll be fine with the apartments you've chosen, they're very close to the train station, one stop away from the gates of Disney. I have considered staying there in the past.
As adults at DLP, do all the shows, they are fabulous - so Tarzan in the main park, then in the Studios do Cinemagique, Animagique, Moteurs stunt show, Stitch Live (really not just for kids lol) and possibly even Art of Animation.
The Tram tour is decent if theres no huge queue involved, and the Disneyland Hotel is a must for adults - have breakfast or lunch there, or even tea in the Fantasia bar. Anyone can visit any onsite hotel at Disney, shop there, have a drink in the bar or a meal in the restaurants, regardless of where they are staying.
Explore the Castle - it has a lower level (where the dragon lives) and an upper level with beautiful tapestries and stained glass windows.
The shops are a treat at DLP too, and in a couple of weeks time as well as the shops in both parks, there is a huge World of Disney store opening in the Village (just outside the gates to the parks and next to the train station at DLP).
I don't know how long you are there for and whether you'd like to meet characters/do rides etc?0 -
Hello,
I am wanting to book a trip for disneyland paris for 2 adults and a child who will be 3. We live in sheffield and are looking for the best deal possible, we don't drive so im presuming flights may be our best option, we are looking to go either oct, nov, late feb or march.
we would like to go for 3 nights however if there are any outstanding deals for a night less or more we are pretty flexible.
I don't mind booking a package or seperatley but unsure how to include disney tickets if seperate.
The Cheyenne is a hotel we have looked at but again completley flexible on this.
Any help would be greatley appreciated, Thanks.0 -

How many is that for and who did you book flights, hotel through and how do you book the disney tickets?
I have booked holidays online but disney is very confusing.0 -
you will be cheaper booking the Cheyenne with Disney if you go in the period January to March (thats the cheapest season of all) and if you can stretch to 4 nights, Disney currently has an offer where you pay for 2 nights, and get 2 nights free in that time period too. This deal would include 5-day park hopper tickets for all of you, and you can pay a 15% deposit to book, by calling Disney (if you book online you have to pay the whole lot).
From Sheffield you could get the Eurostar on a through-fare (from Sheffield this would only be available around 3 months in advance of travel, but you could have a play around on the Eurostar website for dates in the next 3 months, see what comes up for the journey from Sheffield to Disneyland Paris).0
