    Hi,

this is great thread, lots of info. we have just booked a trip to DLP end of July, got the flights/hotel through Expedia and then bought some annual passes through promoparcs

Some quick advice re: Promoparcs which took me a while to find out - if anyone is buying annual tickets through promoparcs and cannot buy as the buy button is not showing, just increase number of tickets to ammount required and hit the enter key. This means you do not have to register for 15Euros. It then goes through checkout (hopefully this will save someone a few quid!)

I was trying to work out how much food was going to cost and best places to eat, we are family of 5. So everything is going to add up. I was just wondering how amylouv only spent 70e incl food? for 2 days? Looking at the buffet menus etc each meal is going to cost me 40-50e

The price of £279 included coach travel, return ferry crossing, bed and breakfast at the Novotel Marne la Vallee and a 2 day hopper ticket. I took with me 240euro and only ended up spending about 70, including meals however I believe that food in DLP can be as cheap or as expensive as you make it.

we're planning on taking snacks etc but will have to buy at least 1-2 meals a day in the park? we're staying at dream castle on b&b basis. Are there any places to eat around the hotel?

    Thanks for any help.

credit card and debit card mean the same thing on the Disneyland Paris booking website :). You will still be charged a fee for paying with a debit card.

Sounds like a great price, where did you find that? could you direct me, me and my BF have tickets but we're looking for hotel/travel

The Novotel she stayed at is awful we stayed there on our first trip to Disney and I cried at how dirty and run down the hotel and in particular our room was ! It was also a long way to disney half an hour by coach.
Wins so far this year: Mum to be bath set, follow me Domino Dog, Vital baby feeding set, Spiderman goody bag, free pack of Kiplings cakes, £15 love to shop voucher, HTC Desire, Olive oil cooking spray, Original Source Strawberry Shower Gel, Garnier skin care hamper, Marc Jacobs fragrance.

Thanks for that confusing for customers tho as to any person a credit card means that and a debit card means that also. And the only options it gives you on the payment screen was Mastercard American express and Visa mines a visa debit.

I know, you can call Disney if you'd prefer, to book that way and pay by visa debit (but thats the visa option online). It will be the same price.
  • Hi, firstly thank you to all to great tips and advice on this forum.

Went on our first trip to Eurodisney last month, had such a great time that we are now planning our second trip next March on the current '2 nights free' offer. Last time we stayed at the Cheyenne for 3 days and was perfect for our boys (6 &4). Cheyenne coming up at £418 for 5 days but for £100 more we can stay in a lodge at Sequoia. DH is thinking that the extra £100 worth it for the pool as we will be there for longer this time. What would others advise? Many thanks.

Sequoia Lodge is a lovely hotel, with a great pool (thats usually pretty cold ;)). Do you think you'll have time to use the pool? Remember in March you more than likely won't have the late park hours you had last month, because the sun sets a lot earlier in March so the park could well close at 7pm midweek (the parks have stayed open much later in May and June this year because the Dreams show needs full dark to make the most of it). So you may find in March that you will be able to spend all day in the parks without needing a break.

The only time I've ever had time to swim at any hotel at DLP was on a trip where the parks closed at 7pm, and we had a swim once in the hotel pool until 10pm :).

So if its just for the pool, you may not find its worth the extra £100. The Sequoia Lodge rooms have 2 double beds as standard too, whereas the Cheyenne has bunk beds and one double.
