This deal would include 5-day park hopper tickets for all of you, and you can pay a 15% deposit to book, by calling Disney (if you book online you have to pay the whole lot).
From Sheffield you could get the Eurostar on a through-fare (from Sheffield this would only be available around 3 months in advance of travel, but you could have a play around on the Eurostar website for dates in the next 3 months, see what comes up for the journey from Sheffield to Disneyland Paris).
thanks it just keeps crashing on euro star website think my computer is playing up.0 -
Afternoon!
Can anyone tell me what its really like at the Davy crockett Ranch?
I have been to Euro disney *ahem* quite a few times:D:D But have never stayed here. Stayed at the Cheyenne and Santa Fe and then the last few times New York, we loved this hotel:D:D
I promised hubby I wouldn't book another one:eek:, but having stumbled on this thread, you have talked me in to it:rotfl::rotfl:
Anyhow, got a really good quote of £609 for 2 adults 1 teenager 3 kids and 1 infant, for 4 nights and 5 days.
We liked the idea of driving and self catering, so really just wanted real peoples opinion on this hotel!!0 -
Do you use DISboards nearlysorted? They have reviews of the hotels, including the Davy Crockett ranch, and a few repeat guests there -

Hi,
Just been following that very long thread about staying at Disneyland Paris in the coming months.
There are numberous offers that have already been mentioned in the thread: in addition, DLP is running a nice 30% off + free meals + kids under 7 go free until the end of July for selected dates in July, Aug. and Sept. which I might go for.
2013 seems to be open for bookings.
From past experience, Davy Crockett is the best option (if you're driving to France), it's got lots of facilities such as pool, farm and restaurant.
Cheyenne & Sequoia Lodge are the cheaper options nearer the parks. But my personal favorite is NY Hotel as really close to both parks and Disney Village and just love the ambience (we stayed there 3 times, not the cheapest though).
Cheers

I've seen that hotels.com are offering a free print off ticket for certain hotels, will it be possible to do threee separate bookings for a three night stay to obtain three tickets instead of one (like someone suggested for P&O)?
Thanks.0 -
Hi,
Could anyone tell me what is in the kids packs on the eurostar please?
I am making the kids rucksacks to take but don't want to duplicate what's inside.
Thank you
I am not sure if this has already been written on the thread somewhere but the customer services at Disney told me today that by the end of the year the sequoia lodge is being renovated in the theme of Bambi. Sounds lovely.
A small jigsaw, colouring pencil and small activity book.Wins so far this year: Mum to be bath set, follow me Domino Dog, Vital baby feeding set, Spiderman goody bag, free pack of Kiplings cakes, £15 love to shop voucher, HTC Desire, Olive oil cooking spray, Original Source Strawberry Shower Gel, Garnier skin care hamper, Marc Jacobs fragrance.0 -
Hello, I am hoping someone is going to be able to help me as I am lost!
I have spent all night trawling the internet and these forums looking for the cheapest way to take my family to Disneyland Paris and I'm even more confused now than when I started.
Is there an idiots guide to getting started?
We would like to go in October/November, during the week for 4/5 days.
We will be travelling from Plymouth and our family consists of 2 adults, 2 children (5 & 7) and an infant (1).
I am open to how we get there, car/ferry, eurostar, even perhaps a coach but need it to be as cheap and preferably as stress free as possible (if there is such a thing as a stress free family holiday!)
Thank you in advance for any help, I really am at a loss with where to start.0 -
the cheapest way for 5 of you will by by car and ferry/eurotunnel (you can use tesco clubard points for the eurotunnel journey).
November is cheaper than October, look on the official Disneyland Paris site for onsite hotels as these include your park tickets for every day. Go after 11th November, until then in late October/early November there are French school and public holidays, which makes the Disney parks very busy. Avoid weekend dates if you can - again, very busy and a Saturday check-in date usually makes your hotel more expensive too.
just had a look on the official site - from 12th November for 4 nights for all of you, either at the Santa Fe or Cheyenne, its £520, including 5-day park hopper tickets for you all.
There is a way you could get this same hotel and park ticket access for your family for around £370 (plus discounts on food and souvenirs), but its not as straightforward as just booking you all in on the Disney package, so I won't go into it unless you really want to know how to do it.
and then start saving! DLP is in no way a cheap option for a holiday, but its fabulous for kids of your older childrens ages (and kids of your and your OH's ages too).
