  • This is my first post so hope I'm putting it in the right place! We really want to go to DLP in June but due to a week of horrors we missed the 31 January booking deadline for up to 30% off etc. I've checked the costs today and they have increased massively (unsurprisingly). Obviously it is nobody's fault except mine that I missed it but does anyone have any tips or is it a case of 'I've missed the boat and will have to pay more". Many thanks

no, its unlikely you've missed the boat for June yet - DLP will come out with another offer, probably within the next week. Thats what they tend to do for the UK.
  • Thanks balletshoes. I really hope so, could kick myself for leaving it so late but I guess life gets in the way sometimes ;) I thought the prices would increase a bit but it was such a leap there's no way I can justify yesterday's costs Vs today's!
  • Hi,
I'm going to DLP in March with my friend and her daughter, who has special needs and uses a wheelchair. I have been trying to contact DLP direct by email to ask some questions like is there a shop on site as we will need soya milk. Also I wanted to make sure that the bedroom will fit the wheelchair in it and there are a couple of other things that I want to know. I keep being directed back to the UK customer helpline and I'm not sure if they will be able to answer all of my questions. Does anyone have an email address? We are staying in Hotel New York.

What do they do at Disney when it snows? Do they magic it all away overnight or leave it?

DD is going on the 11th, I was hoping she'd dodge the bad weather, but it seems she may not:o

they clear paths on the main walkways in the parks and around the resort, but leave all the rest.

I think the best way to contact DLP is to ring them. We stayed at the Hotel New York last summer and my son is disabled - I don't recall there being any shops other than food stalls/Disney shops. Are you able to take any soya milk with you? I suspect that most places will be able to offer soya milk eg restaurants/hotels because it's quite common place now. Did you book an adapted bedroom? If so, they are designed for wheelchair mobilisation and adapted bathrooms. We found the staff at the hotel and DLP in general to be really helpful. Don't forget to take her blue badge too for an access pass There is a page dedicated to disabled/special needs visitors on the Disneyland Paris website - unfortunately I can't post a link yet due to newbie status. HTH.

Oh found some blow up camping pillows in poundland, these if you put 2 in a pillowcase are like a almost normal pillow, read that at the explorer its 1 pillow on beds and hard to get more, I like 2 or 3 pillows, so taking these with a spare pillowcase lol.
