you can only use half board vouchers at certain buffet or table service restaurants. you can't use them at all at counter service restaurants I'm afraid. The only exception to this is the Cowboy Cookout character lunch, which does accept half board vouchers.

eta - Pizza Planet isn't on the half board plan, so you can't use your half board vouchers there.

Thanks, I thought that I read that they could be used at most diners in dp but I find it all a bit confusing! So are you saying that I could use them towards a character dinner like cowboy cookout? Oh now that might just be the thing! thanks

yes, you can use them to pay in full for your cowboy cookout lunch (its only open at lunchtime, not dinner).
you can also use them at face value (like cash) at Cafe Mickey for lunch or dinner (the characters are there from noon until nearly 3pm, then from just after 6pm until the restaurant closes at 11pm). you don't have to spend a fortune in cafe mickey, you can order pizza and starters etc to share.
Restaurant des Stars is a lunchtime buffet, but it has animatronic Remy there to help entertain the children ;) (its good food too). your half board vouchers would pay in full for this restaurant.

are you only there for one night? if so, I'd use your vouchers at Cowboy Cookout lunch I think.

no, you don't have to pay in advance for any of the character meals. you're going in half term though, so it might be worth your while phoning the Disney dining line a week or so before you go, to reserve your tables at whichever restaurants you want to use your vouchers in. The number to call is 0033 160 304050. There is no charge (apart from the phone call) to reserve restaurant tables.

Am I right that I read on here somewhere that there is a discount for the wild west show either shareholders or for those whose birthday month it is?

Also, I cant seem to find the information on the shareholders discount in the restuarants etc so can someone please tell me? I think getting some shares make things abit cheaper as there are 10 of us going (3 families, plus 1 extra person) and we are bringing with us 1700 euros altoether so Im wondering if becoming a shareholder would be worth it for the discount? Thanks guys

I am returning to DP in March and cant wait. Last year was my first trip and I didnt actually realise that I miss loads of things in March due to it being between seasons and only just realised after catching up on the recent pages :( Going to make sure I go later in the year next year. Also read what you said about it being really busy last St Patricks Day Balletshoes (whch is when I also went) and I thought it was pretty quiet - shows how much I know!

Last time I never ventured offsite but due to the early March closing times (was 8pm last year) I think I will go to the local shopping mall after closing to eat this time round. I checked online and it seems that the restuarants are open to midnight - can anyone confirm this please? Also does anyone have any idea what kind of restuarants there are there and the prices? I think I remember someone mentioning a Chinese which would be nice.

Also is there anywhere else to go locally after 8pm park closing. Is Paris too far? What time do the trains stop and does anyone know the prices?

Thanks guys - just dont want to end up bored in the hotel room at 9pm like I was last holiday - couldnt find any decent bars open and the Hurricane disco was closed (was that because its March?).
