how much are the 4-day tickets? as you may be better off with fantasy annual passes instead. check out DLRPMagic for their annual pass information, including blackout dates and discount privilages :). you could even do a mix of annual passes for the adults and 4-day passes for the kids, if that works out better value.

eta - heres the annual pass link on DLRPMagic -

Thanks!! Checked that out and we're thinking we'll get the Dream pass. The Fantasy pass has a blockout on the first day of our holiday and also at the end of October which is when we'd want to go back if we were able to, to get maximum value for money from the pass. At $199 it's not much more than the adult price of £152 (5 days for the price of 4) so with restaurant discounts it will work out even closer.
Will have to think a bit harder about the kids' tickets though (£137).

Had a look at the blockouts for 2013 and there are a lot fewer than for this year.

do all 5 of you live at the same address? just thinking - you could become a shareholder with as little as 5 shares in Eurodisney SCA (or buy 20 shares and pay no admin fee to join the shareholders club). with your shareholders club you get 15% discount on every annual pass that you buy, so that would be 30 euros discount on each dream annual pass. Plus, if you are buying 5 annual passes of the same type at the same time, and you are all resident at the same address, you get another 20% discount on top of this (its called the family discount), so that would be 35% discount on each annual pass.

We are thinking of going to EuroDisney in June this year. Looking at the Sequoia Lodge hotel for 4 nights. If we were to book the hotel from the Disneyland Paris site does this include the passes for the park or would they have to be purchased separately?

Would it be better to buy the train tickets from Eurostar and also buy the hotel package from Eurostar as well??

Not sure what to do and could do with some help from you all!

if you book through Disney, you would get 5 days park hopper tickets included in the price of your hotel, for each of you in your party.

usually its cheaper to book Eurostar yourself separately, but Disney's current offer is up to 30% off, including transport, so you might find its just as cheap (or a tad cheaper) booking the whole lot through Disney - do a dummy booking for with and then without transport included, see what the difference is. no harm in checking what Eurostar can do for the whole package too.

Not sure what to do and could do with some help from you all!

    hope this helps :),

Thanks for the useful info guys - I looked into the evening coach tour and its abit over my budget :( May leave DP early though and go into Paris for diner with the kids though - the train pricing seems reasonable.

If I've read your previous posts correctly your children are 4 & 7, correct? The information available online is a little confusing but I think single RER tickets for children aged 4-10 are half price (the 7 Euro-ish each way I quoted is the adult price) although the 1 day Mobilis card is not - seems to be just a flat far for an adult or child, most likely because it's really aimed at commuters rather than tourists. Children under 4 travel for free.

If you would be going into Paris on a Saturday or Sunday there is also something called a "Ticket Jeunes" which gives a day's travel in zones 1-5 (includes DLP) for 7.10 for anyone aged under 26.

More info here, although it's still a bit confusing...long story short, yes the train fares are pretty reasonable!!

Sounds like me and my partner lol. Hes 6 foot 4 and quite slim and Im 5ft nothing and a size 16. And hes always trying to run off and do his own thing too - usually with me shouting after him lol.

Lucky for him (and me) Im not going with him but with my sister, sister in law and our kids. You wont be able to miss us either - theres 6 kids in total plus us 3 adults and my little teenage cousin. You will probably hear us a mile off lol

Wow - thanks for that explanation and yes you're right - my kids are 4 and 7 :)

I think that makes sense and that makes it even cheaper. And Im 26 the day after I get back so I can get that discount too :) And yes I am getting a surprise cake at Cafe Mickey ;)
  • ah well, all booked up now for May. Only thing left is the transfers to and from CDG airport, not so fussed about when we arrive as we are in paris at 9am so i dont think you can check in until 3pm?? so cheapest option might be the trains, coming home our flights at 09:50 so need to be at the airport quite sharp. Anybody had a similar early flight coming home and the best option for transfer? thanks in advance.

although you room might not be ready until 3pm, you can check in as early as you like and pick up your park tickets etc at your onsite hotel. then you can head off to the parks an enjoy your first day :).

you have several options for getting to and from CDG and DLP. theres the high speed TGV train (journey takes only 10 minutes), theres a private/shared shuttle with the likes of rstransport etc, or theres the VEA coach (usually the slowest way of getting there direct). you can check all the timetables etc for all of these methods online. Sites like DISboards, DLRPMagic, etc etc all have trip planning forums where you can find lots of this type of information with weblinks etc.

Hi, we are a party of 2 adults, 2 teenagers, 3 children and 2 infants. We have booked disneyland paris for the 15th feb with standard half board meal tickets, which I believe have a value of about 23 euros for the adults and 11 euros for the child ones.
The question I wanted to ask was, do we have to use these all in one go? Or for example, could we use some of our vouchers to get a snack/ sandwich at lunchtime, from a diner where we can use the amount shown on the voucher rather than get a set meal, and then put the rest towards a buffet dinner such as pizza planet, rather than having a more expensive dinner where the little ones just would not sit down and behave anyway? As that is probably where we will end up it seems like I might have wasted my money as the buffets are less than the voucher is worth.
I dont think I thought about it really before I booked, I probably should not have taken the half board option.
    thanks for your help
