    hi peeps!

We've just won a 2 night stay for 4 people at dlp through morrisons magical moments cards.

We never ever win anything and our little boy has wanted to go for sooooo long and we'll never be able to afford it so we are extremely greatful!

I need a wee bit of advice please,

How much can we pack in to these 3 days?

What things/attractions/places should we check out?

My hubby and son are massive waterpark fans, is there a waterpark there? cant seem to find anything on dlp website.

With the rides and things are these extra charges? i think 'park passes' are included in our stay.

We're awaiting our winners pack which will probably explain a few things but id like to get some inside info from people that have been!

    thankyou in advance :D

    Congrats - well done!

You'll get loads done in 3days - but prob not everything - we were there 5days and didn't do everything but you just might! You should get to see everythign though - parades etc... And most shows ! Go early to the shows cos studios closes first !

I don't think there are any water parks though -( correct me if im wrong anybody )!

Rides/ shows are free once you're in the park - of course things balloon ride etc is extra - but at £12 for adults its not bad !

We took 900euro for 4 in July - and had plenty on our debit card - and had to pay airport transfers of 250euro outta this - and we came home with 60euro without touching the debit card - ate like lords - bought gifts - and had the time of our lifes !

Am currently wating for July next year to be released ! So we can do it all again:rotfl:

You'll have a ball - the epensive part you won:T So just have a read of which rides suits your family! We spent most our time in fantasyland cos our boys are babies/toddlers.

Wish we had morrisons here !

    WEll done again !!!!:T

    Hello
We have finally found an excuse to go to disneyland Paris
As it is our first time I aould appriciate if any body could share their experience with us.
we are 2 x Adults 1x 3yr old 1x 1yr old (both boys love Mickey & Nemo gang)
want to spend 6 or 7 nights
Earliest date can leave :6th August
Must be back by : 24th August
    Going by Eurostar from London
    Hotel Must have swimming pool

    questions are
apart from direct from disney site, where else should we look for tickets?

Which hotel should we aim for?

    Thanks

do you mean this month, 2011, or is this for next year? It will be very expensive if its this month you want to go - Eurostar will be at peak prices because its so close, and there won't be any discount offers about for accommodation so close to your date of departure either. Not to mention the amount of money it will cost you to eat and drink at DLP for 7 or 8 days .

in 3 days you can do it all, as long as you go midweek, and you go when there are no school holidays in the UK or Europe.
Once you are at DLP, there are no extra charges for anything in the parks, just your food and drinks, and souvenirs.

There is no waterpark at DLP.

Congratulations on winning - the Cheyenne is a great hotel :T.
  • Thanks guys! :T

    mummy1983,

thanks for your helpful info! our son is 6 and we're taking my brother who is 14, they love nemo, cars, toy story. They're not into anything princessy im afraid lol! i think there are swimming pools in the hotels?? will just have to see which hotel/s they offer us! so excited!

balletshoes, we will see if they offer us particular days or if we can choose dates. I know we have to take it by 28th march 2012. So we're debating whether to go november time or early march for our sons birthday.

    What do you guys think?

Also, continental breakfast is included, how do you go about eating at the restaurants? for lunch and dinner? do we have to book before we leave? or can we just walk in? what are the prices like and best restaurants?

so sorry for all the questions! just wanna make sure we get the most out of it! :)

I would go November - its Christmas season at DLP from 7th November until 8th January, its an absolutely magical time to see the parks - but very cold so wrap up warm.

The Morrisons offer is for the Cheyenne hotel, this hotel doesn't have a swimming pool, but to be honest in 2 nights/3 days you won't have time to swim anyway :). You can see the terms and conditions of what you've won on the Morrisons website.

There are loads of choices for restaurants - have a look on MagicalKingdoms and DLRPMagic for more information and price lists. You don't have to make any reservations before you go, unless you want to go to Cafe Mickey, which is always busy, and so you'd be best to reserve your table there in advance (a couple of days in advance will be fine though, if you're going midweek). I'd recommend this restaurant - its a character meal at either lunch or dinner, and you can eat very reasonably here ie you can order a couple of pizzas and a side, some soft drinks between you all, rather than the way more expensive set meals menu.
  • Thanks balletshoes!

totally didnt realise it was the cheyenne hotel in the prize! just read the terms, thanks for that! :)

Yes i agree with thinking november, its just saving for it, we all need to get passports so thats £200 for us 3. we will go via eurostar.

also have a look on the official Disneyland Paris website - you can download park programmes (although you'll need to wait until much nearer your visit date to get the one for your dates) to give you an idea of what you can see and do at DLP -
