yes - so its £110 for an adult 3-day ticket through the French site? I haven't booked using it, hopefully someone will be along who can confirm its fine to do so.
What I would suggest though, is that you buy one adult and 2 childrens tickets through the French site if its confirmed to be okay, and then buy one Fantasy Annual Pass for the other adult when you arrive at DLP. This costs currently 149 euros (so about £125?) and gives you discounts on your shopping and meals while you are there. For the extra £15 you'd save quite a bit (generally 10% on both shopping and meals). DLRPmagic has a great page all about annual passes on their website -

Hi all - hopefully this will be my last question? Im currently planning my trip with restaurants etc... But now im not sure about the half board meal plan - we would go for the plus plan but I don't want to buy one for my 3yr old cos he wouldn't eat enough to justify it - is it possible to buy the plan for just me and hubbie?
Secondly is it really worth it?
Where are the best restaurants?
Are the buffets better value than the meals?
Are there many places just to grab a handy snack for babies that we dont have to prebook?
Is there anywhere online that has a list of restaurants and menus thats easily printed off.
Thanks in advance.
P.s - we love buffets, chinese, pizza, burgers and fries , salads, fine dining, steaks, etc Love desserts and like a red wine lol
kids love pasta, chicken nugget and sausages, toasties etc.0 -
If it helps we used http://www.dlrpmagic.com/ to decide on restaurants etc for our week there from 3rd July
I phoned a few days ago to pre-book the character meals as apparently if you don't pre-book then its hard to get it! We booked Cafe Mickey, Auberge de Cendrillon, Cowboy Cookout the rest of the meals we couldn't pre-book. We are taking 4 kids so we decided not to bother with meal plans as the smallest 2 won't eat even a childs portion so would be a waste. We have been informed that in the likes of Cafe Mickey the pizza's are huge and 1 will feed a family with a side order of chips etc We decided against the dining plans in the end
Hope that link helpsWife to a great husband and mum to 4 fantastic kids 9,8,4,3 they drive me mad but I would do anything and give everything for my family :grinheart

I'm another one who doesn't think any of the half board plans are good value for money. You'd have to buy half board for your 3-year old if you decided to go for it, as you have to purchase them for every person on your booking, for every night you are booked into a Disney hotel.
Bring your own snacks and soft drinks - counter service places are plentiful all over the resort, but they are not in any description "fast" food - it can take 20 minutes to get your food once you've ordered it! They are not cheap either - 12 euros ish for an adult meal, 5 or 6 for a kids one.
I like buffets at DLP, I do think they are good value for money, and all of them have kids options (chicken nuggets, fish, smiley faces, pizza, pasta etc).0 -

All I can say is do not expect fine dining at DLP and you'll do just fine!!
Some of the restaurants are not open off peak so when you are going is important too - Hakuna Matata and Pizza Planet have never been open in November. If you have the meal plan you may have to book tables so you might find yourself restricted. We have only ever had it once when we got it free and we could never find anywhere to eat that had spaces, complete waste of time, had an arguement in Caseys as they said they would not take the vouchers but everywhere else was closed or fully booked. Just wandered around looking to use the damn things and get some food.
We found a lot of the food was not to our taste either. We go there expecting to eat crap for 3-4 days and we usually do. We go to the restaurants in Disney Village and most of the places in there are burger and fries kids of places. We always go to Rainforest Cafe and this time we went to Annettes Diner.
A lot of the buffet restaruants are only open during the day and we never eat a full meal in the daytime so this restricted us too. The only restaurants seem to be the hotel ones and they are all themed, we did not eat in Santa Fe because it is spicy foods and did not like it, could not get in a Sequoia Lodge when we was there.0 -
Thats what I thought - I was thinking we would just pay for ourselves and feed offour plates at buffet and at the sit down meals just order for everyone - kids are tiny and 1 and 3 and therfore won't eat much - cafe mickey - should i book then?0
