was just wondering is it true that if you book up and a better deal comes up can you ring up and upgrade your package say to a better hotel or longer stay for example and pay near to nothing extra? ive already booked up for the Disney hotel but if this is the case could i upgrade to a suite or is the food package an option to add?
    thanks again

the upgrade is unlikely because suites etc are usually not included in the discount offers from Disney. But yes, if an offer comes out which means that for your dates your hotel room costs less under the new offer, you can add a meal plan etc to your booking.

thanks for that, we havent booked any meal vouchers or any extras so if something better was to come up it might be worth ringing and adding alittle extra if its gonna be near enough free.

ok, 2 adults, one 3 year old, 4 days and 3 nights, hotel cheyenne, nov 10th direct on disney website is £399, eurostar +£150 return from ashford (on eurostar website) can't seem to book it as a package, not sure if it needs to be a minimun amount of time before departure. I thought that that wasn't to bad £550. am going to book it on monday i think, unless anyone thinks there may be a significantly cheaper offer/way of doing it. TIA

Armistice day is on 11th November and it is a French Public Holiday so a long weekend for the French. I would seriously advise you to think about going the weekend after instead as it will be very quiet then.

It will be HEAVING on 10th for 4 days as they have some sort of sale weekend on as well. We went without realising and the kids never got to go on anything, the crowds for the parades were 15 people deep. I have never seen anything like it in my life. A bloke outside the station told us that it was a long bank holiday.

Also, everyone walking around with black sacks and a queue for the tent next to McDonals that went all the way through Disney Village.

We gave up trying to get into Disneyland Park at 11am and went for lunch and went at 1pm, it was ridiculous. Luckily it was out last day, but I'll never go on a Bank Holiday again. There was absolutely no point in being there as there is no enjoyment when there are just so many people there that you cannot get into shops, go on rides or see the parades, and that is before seeing characters, of which you'll have no chance. Sorry. Just being honest.

Maybe you were just unlucky, weve been on a bank holiday before and it was busy but nowhere near how busy you had it.
Wins so far this year: Mum to be bath set, follow me Domino Dog, Vital baby feeding set, Spiderman goody bag, free pack of Kiplings cakes, £15 love to shop voucher, HTC Desire, Olive oil cooking spray, Original Source Strawberry Shower Gel, Garnier skin care hamper, Marc Jacobs fragrance.

It's because of the sale too which is on that weekend.

I am just googling to see what it is called, but everyone is also carrying black bin bags full of stuff around. I cannot find anything no matter how hard I look. I'd love to have known what was in those bags, that is for sure, the queue was massive!!

I would agree with Blue Monkey about the crowds on Armistice Day (11th November) and Ascension Day (usually in May/June) - from all reports is crazy busy on those days at DLP every year.
