  • How far in advance would you recommend booking Cafe Mickey? And are the characters there all the time? We're not going til September but it is something we'd like to do. Also, when you ring, do they speak good English, as my French is somewhat limited......?

it depends when you're going - but I usually try to book about a week or 10 days before I go. You can book Cafe Mickey up to 60 days before you arrive. They speak good English on the Dining reservations line. The characters are there every day for breakfast from 8am to around 10am, then from lunch at 12 noon until around 2.45pm, then again from just after 6pm until the restaurant closes very late in the evening (ie around 11pm).
  • Thats great thanks, i'll book at the start of September then I think.

  • hi everyone

my friend & i are planning a trip in October half term

I've found a coach trip 4 days for £239 which i thought isnt bad.

Another choice would be euro star for £149 each but then we'd have to organise hotels.
Are there hotels in walking distance or with shuttle to disneyland?

    thanks

    BB

  • There are several hotels in the area. Magic Circus, Kyriad, Dreamcastle, Explorers, Radisson are all a shuttle bus away. There are also several a couple of stops away on the train.

Which hotel is the quote for?

The hotels quoted above are partner hotels. The disney hotels are closer to the park and allow access to the main park 2 hours earlier than other visitors. They also beneift from better offers than the partner hotels, atm there is 25% off. Also you can have any shopping you buy in the park sent back to your hotel to save you carrying it around with you all day.

Another thing with the coach trip its probably only 2 days in the park and the other 2 days travelling. This is how it worked with us when we went by coach twice. LONG day travelling, we were picked up at 5.30 am and reached our hotel 11pm

I wouldn't want 2 days travelling in a coach potentially with kids! LOL Were getting very excited here as its only 4 sleeps until we stay in the park for a week :D:j:j:j:D (I think I am more excited than the 4 kids :p)

Just a last question if I may? Is the Auchan supermarket I keep hearing about for fuel etc easy enough to find? Hoping to just send OH out to refuel before coming back and he will not go unless its easy :rotfl:
Wife to a great husband and mum to 4 fantastic kids 9,8,4,3 they drive me mad but I would do anything and give everything for my family :grinheart
