Hi, I really want to take the kids to DLP in february 2012 for their birthdays, they will be 2 & 4, I'm just not sure if it's likely to be too cold?

And are their any days in fen we should avoid? Probably looking to stay for 3 nights, will avoid the UK school half term, but wasn't sure about any French dates we should avoid?

    Many thanks.

thermals and layers is the way to go at DLP in February. As well as UK schools, all French schools also have holidays in February. In 2012 they run from 11th Feb right through to 11th March. The quietest of these weeks would be from 11th Feb for that week, as its not the Paris area schools which are off then.

Thank you so much for that. I thinking maybe will wait till end of march then as may be quieter and warmer. Thank you.

    hello all

just wanted to say a big thankyou for all the great advice on this thread, i had been to disneyland paris before but now that i have a child it was completely different trying to plan everything and this thread really helped!

i purchased annual passes on the paris billets site and got the free annual pass for my son as he is only 5, so saved quite a bit as we went for 6days!

we did the cowboy cookout bbq and my son had a pretend birthday there but they weren't serving any proper food and it was all just too much sugar. all the donuts and cakes and then a massive chocolate birthday cake on top, i wish i had done the pretend birthday at cafe mickey instead!

can anyone tell me when the 2011 Christmas celebrations begin? i would like to try and book the next trip so that we see the fireworks in November and then the beginning of the Christmas event.

    thanks everyone

    Howdy folks!

Bit of a random question, but does anyone know anywhere where you are able to book a hotel stay at Santa Fe without the tickets being included?
I'm currently trying to beat a coach quote of £250-ish per person for 2 nights at Santa Fe and 2 full days in the park with a hopper ticket for both days.
We like the coach option because all you have to do is get to the local pick-up point on time and everything else is done for you so there is no stress at all, but I just wanted to see how much (if anything) we could save by doing things ourselves.

Whenever I try to book 2 nights at Santa Fe it keeps including 3 day's worth of park tickets within the package, and I only want 2 days....annoying! hehe.

Thanks again for all of the help everyone! :)

I doubt you'll beat £250 per person including travel and park tickets by pricing it up separately. Expedia is the only agent I know which offers room only prices at the onsite hotels at DLP, and often thats only at certain times of the year.

2-day park hoppers for adults are about £100 each on their own, aren't they? At their cheapest, Expedia charge around £55 per night per room for room only at the Santa Fe, so that would be over £300 just for your park tickets and accommodation, without travel.

    Hi

Just a quick question about luggage - im trying ( painfully) to reduce the amount of things to have to add to my checked baggage - I have 15kg allowance and 3 x 10kg hand luggage - & 2 buggies ! AHHH - So want to just have a nappy bag - toys etc in 1 hand luggage and then maybe 1 small wheeled - and everything ( 2adults & 2 kids) in the 15kg checked bag

Does anyone have any tips ?
And is there somewhere handy in disney to buy nappies at a resonable price to save taking up room in my luggage? Thanks
